The Alumina Revolve by Tantus is an elegant weapon for all forms of insertion. It holds temperature well when chilled or warmed, for fantastic temperature play, and provides two different ends, both of which work for whichever oriface one prefers.

Care should be taken when thrusting, since it's a hard material, but the smooth surface helps it glide almost effortlessly while the shape is uniquely stimulating.

It's also perfectly suitable for kegel exercises.

My introduction to the Revolve was love at first touch. It felt cold to my fingertips, and when I lifted it, I knew this toy would be a favorite. It's made of aluminum, and it has amazing balance. In an admirable feat of engineering, it feels both solidly heavy and lightweight at the exact same time. This means that, when inserted, it feels heavy inside your body, while it feels light in your hand.

Amazing.

It's also smooth, great for temperature play, compatible with any lube, and a body-safe material. Being metal, it's firm and solid, and the bumpy end feels delightful wherever you choose to stick it. If you're determined to lick it, it tastes metallic, like a beverage can.

The shape is wonderfully stimulating, and since it's a double ended toy, you have choices. The balance of it amazes me every time I pick it up.

Almost any user would enjoy this toy -- the weighty feeling should keep even the most jaded veteran toy user interested, while the sleek finish and relatively small size shouldn't intimidate even the most timid first time buyer.

As far as discretion goes, it doesn't look like a sex toy. It looks like a very pretty self defense device, or possibly like it might be the part to something. I'm ridiculously paranoid about hiding my toys, but this one is sometimes out on my bedroom desk, because I like fiddling with it while I'm watching television. It's soothing, like those Chinese meditation balls that are so good for carpal tunnel.

Have I already raved about the balance? I thought so, but it's worth saying, because this toy is a marvel. I found both ends very pleasant for thrusting and for temperature play in both orifaces, and in fact the Revolve is the only thing I've ever really enjoyed for backdoor fun.

The simpler, round end can be rocked against the g-spot with spectacular results.

Since it's non-porous, body-safe metal, it can be sterilized via boiling, or bleach solution, and therefore it can be used either way -- just not in the same session.

The level of versatility is also impressive. If you buy more than one toy in the Alumina line, you can take them apart, then mix and match the parts. The two ends attach via a screw in the center, with a small silicone ring filling the crevice between them. I also found that you can take it apart and insert a makeshift stopper between the two halves, for added peace of mind, since the toy lacks a flared base. Personally, I've come to the conclusion that it's too long to pose much risk, especially since I don't plan to let go while I'm using it, but it's nice to have options.

The Alumina toys can be washed with soap and water, or toy cleaner, after use; or boiled for sterilization; or run through the dishwasher; or wiped down with bleach solution. The two halves come part very easily if necessary for cleaning.

Don't lose the little silicone ring. Whenever I take the toy apart, I attach a clamp to the ring to help prevent loss.

As for storage, it comes in a lovely box, fits easily in a separator bag, or can just go straight in the toybox loose. Other toys aren't going to hurt it, but I keep it in a lightly padded separator bag to keep it from clanging against my glass toys.

The packaging is a gorgeous gift box well worth keeping for storage. It's an elegant black box, with an outline of the toy embossed upon it. A shiny outline. Very pretty. The black foam inside is shaped to the toy, and I have no intention of recycling it.
