The Lelo Billy is 6 and a half inches long. It has a small curve along its insertable portion which comes out to be around 4 inches long. This vibrator is made out of silicone and feels very velvety and soft to the touch. Since it's pure silicone, it's also phthalates-free. It has a white, plastic handle-hold that also includes the controls for the vibrations on it. It's a rechargeable vibrator, so you will never have to worry about buying batteries for your Billy.

The packaging for the Billy is as beautiful as ever. It comes in a black box that has "Lelo" printed on top. Inside, there's a storage slot for the vibrator as well as a smaller box that will easily hold all of the instruction manuals and your charger. The Lelo Billy also comes with a one-year warranty, so you don't need to be cautious when purchasing it. The instruction manual also includes all sorts of important information you should know about the prostate massager.

The vibrations for the Billy are interesting. If you hold down on the right-hand side of the circle, it will turn itself on. From there, you can click through seven different vibration options - each getting more powerful as you go. As far as vibrations go, the Billy has average vibrations. It's strong, but it's nothing cataclysmic. If you press and hold the "up" button on the control circle, it will go into it's first mode. The mode is slow pulses. The next mode is medium-speed pulses, and the third is rapid pulsation. The last mode that the Billy has is a "rollercoaster"-like effect. It goes silent, crescendos to a "top", then goes right back down. Pressing the down button will reverse the mode selection. To turn off the Billy, you hold down on the left-hand side of the circle.

The vibrations themselves aren't very loud. For as strong as they are, these are pretty quiet. You'd have a hard time hearing it through a door unless you had your ear shoved under the door or something.

The recharging process is relatively simple. The Billy came some-what charged when we received it. You just plug the charger into the wall, and then plug the charger into the Billy. (That little white "Lelo" label at the bottom unattaches cellphone-style to allow you access to the charging hole. While the Billy is charging, it will pulse in its LED display around the control panel. When it's fully charged, the control LED light will stay consistently on. I found it only took about two hours for it to fully charge. Another cute feature? If the Billy is running out of battery mid-use, the color panel will turn red to let you know. If you also wish to lock it, you just have to hold down on the center of the control panel until the light fades to dark.

I found the toy to be easy to use. I was using it with my boyfriend, so it was a couple's toy. The controls were easy enough to be able to be changed while the toy was in use. When my boyfriend used it by himself, he also agreed - it was easy to change things in use. He also said that the silicone is just very soft and makes for a great anal experience.

That having been said, the Billy was created for mostly-male prostate stimulation. However, females could use this anally as well as this could be used vaginally for g-spot stimulation. Remember that if you plan to use your Billy that way, it'd be best to cover it with a condom, and switch condoms when you switch its new "home".

When using Billy anally, it works best if you tilt it upwards, towards the ceiling, during use. It took trial and error for that one. To care for Billy so it will last forever, you should use water-based lubricant. (And lots of it, if you're playing anally.) Silicone lubricant will hurt the silicone on Billy. Overall, my boyfriend and I both enjoyed this toy. He's never tried anything anally that vibrates, and it was definitely a new experience for him. We'll be using this a lot in the future.
