The Velvet Plush Rippler is primarily sold as a butt plug for anal play. When I was offered this as an assignment, I almost turned it down since I am pretty scared to try anything anal again. However, I did accept it with a couple of good ideas, just in case. Well, guess what? Good thing I had back up ideas, I cannot get past my fear, and I think you are going to like them!

This smaller plug makes a perfect dildo for couple play. Your partner cannot push it in too far and hurt or bruise you inside. Add a finger bullet to the bottom, the vibrations will transfer nicely through the silicone. The graduated bumps make this a very pleasurable experience.

The Velvet Rippler also makes a great Kegel exerciser, just leave it in all day and pull it back inside when it starts to slip. You will have those muscles toned up in no time! Vaginally, this did not slip out much but after sneezes or minor exertion, it does slip. Use those muscles with a squeezing and internal pulling motion to get the plug back in place.

Use it as a vaginal plug when you stimulate yourself clitorally. As well as feeling amazing when you orgasm, the ripples seem to hit your G-spot area adding to the intensity. Just make sure no one is on that side of you when you do orgasm, mine went shooting out, every time. (Must be from those Kegels!)

The Velvet Rippler is made of velvety soft silicone, which has a safety rating of 10 on the Eden safety scale. With proper cleaning, this toy can be safely shared. This plug has an amazing softness that is very silky and velvety. The drag against your skin is very pleasant and with a dab of lube is absolutely decadent. The plug is flexible but firm. This is a wonderful texture for beginner and advanced users alike.

From the tip to the bottom of the base, this plug is 5" tall and has 4 1/4" of insertable area. The base is 2 5/8" long, 1" wide and is 1/2" deep. There is a staple with a metal ring, (like the key chain style rings), on the very bottom for easy removal.

There are 4 bumps that get gradually larger before it flares down to a 1/2" by 3/4" oval shaft. The shaft is 1 1/8" long. The tip, or first bump, is 1/2" diameter and 1/2" long. The second bump is 7/8" diameter by 1/2" long. The third bump is 1 1/4" diameter by 7/8" long. The fourth, and final, bump is 1 5/8" diameter and is also 7/8" long. There is a small groove between the bumps

Anally, I could not get it past the first bump. I had a painful experience a few years ago with my husband that left some permanent damage and no matter how hard I tried to work this in over time, it would not happen. I guess the plugs are for vaginal and stretching to get used to larger toys as far as I am concerned. I tried, but could not succeed. This seems like a great size for a beginner, I was not intimidated by it. My butt sure as heck was, though!

This would be a good toy for travel, especially if worn internally. You might want to remove the ring if going through a metal detector, though. I am not sure if it would set it off, but it might be best not to find out.

This was a super fun toy for couple play with my husband. He sued it as a dildo on me vaginally and I was able to relax so much and enjoy it, I had two orgasms. A vaginal plug for clitoral orgasms...who would have thought? Me, of course! I love the fullness and feeling of having something light inside when I push myself over the edge. This really got my G-spot and made me orgasm very hard. It did shoot out about a foot every time, so take care if your partner is within target range!

Wash this plug in warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. For sanitizing, you may put it in a 10% bleach and water solution, boil it for 10 minutes or place it in your dish washer. I also go over it with a toy cleaner.

Use only water based lubes with the Velvet Ripple. Other lubes will deteriorate the material and quality of your plug. Once the integrity of the material has been compromised, it is no longer fully safe.

I store this in the original plastic see-through box it came in. Once the box becomes unable to close, etc. I will store it in its own zip lock bag to prevent interactions wit other toy materials. This will also prevent chemical reactions between other silicones and materials causing a breakdown of my plug.

I did not tell my husband I was getting an anal plug for an assignment. The first hing he said when he saw the plug was, "WHUTT!! Not on me, don't even think about it!" Hence, the title of my review. I sure wish I would have waited until April Fools Day to grab this toy! That would have been almost as priceless.

I am sorry I could not review this as the anal plug it is designed as, however, maybe now others like me can also enjoy these items. With a bit of imagination, you can have fun with many items and find alternative uses that are just as satisfying. I hope you enjoyed reading my alternative uses!!
