Amazonian spear tip anal plug
The pointed tip and large girth of this anal plug makes this more of an advanced anal toy, not for beginners. The plastics wasn't too smelly and the vibrations were nice.Published: April 30, 2010
Pros:
Nice vibrations, fun shape and color, sturdy, safe base.
Cons:
Too pointy tip, rather girthy for a beginner.
This was the first official anal plug I'd ever purchased. I have done lots of anal play before but had never owned an actual butt plug. The cute color and shape of the 'lollipoppers' plug makes it appealing and intimidating for first time anal plug users.
However, when I first used it, I discovered quickly that the sharp, rather pointy end of the plug made for some discomfort and was generally unappealing. The tip isn't rounded like most plugs, I suppose to make it easier to slip in, as gradual plugs are better. However, I'd rather use other toys first and then move onto something bigger, rather than try and ram that tip up my ass again.
The general length of the toy was good, and the base provided great protection against doctor's visits. The vibrator was nice and subtle, but strong enough that you could feel the vibrations, especially if you are using something in your vagina as well (for those double penetration women out there). I could double the vibrator up and use it on my clit as well (providing you always clean between back and front doors!)
The rubber was nice and fairly flexible, which I like, as I'm not a fan of hard sex toys that don't have some give, especially when you're playing around with it inside you. In the future, I probably wouldn't get this light coloured of a toy for use in anal play, as it shows more 'dirty' than the darker colours.
For a first timer, I would also recommend something a bit daintier in terms of girth. I like the fairly large girth of it, but it was a bit too big for a beginner unless you really like the pain game. I had no idea how large was too large for anal plugs, but if you're a first-timer like I was, I definitely wish I would've gotten a smaller one to try at first.

As I stated, always be sanitary when switching from back to front or back to anywhere else. Obviously you can either clean it, or simply switch condoms.
I always use water based lubes and I don't like oil based ones, but I think either would work fine.
The size is all mentioned on the product description page. I simply mentioned the girth was a bit too large for a beginner and I wish I'd started smaller. Specifics like battery size and how many is all found on the product page (but it takes 2 AAA batteries).
It's not that easily removed - another downside. Once in, the base is firmly set and you don't have to worry about losing the toy. But I thought it slightly uncomfortable to remove because of the large girth of it and it made for a little bit more pain than I would've liked in a beginner anal toy.
Cleaning can be done best with toy cleaner which makes sure bacteria etc., does not stay on your toy, especially if you're sharing!
As for travel friendly, I just meant it's rather small and unassuming, and that the vibrator does not easily turn on on its own, so you don't have to worry about that. Although when traveling, I would always take batteries out to assure no embarrassment.

Thank you for viewing Lollipoppers smooth anal plug – anal vibrator review page!

I'd recommend covering the toy with a condom if you're going to swap between front and back. TPR's a great material, but it's still somewhat porous. Good review.
All good info, i was considering this one. Thanks
What is the size of this plug. Also what kind of lubes did can/did you use
Thanks for the review!
I agree with Cynthia with the condom use. Bacteria from the anus can trap itself in the material and make for one yucky mess to get taken care of down the road.
Also, is it easily removed? What do you mean by "shows more dirty"? How did you clean the plug? What can you clean it with? You stated that it vibrates, so what kind of batteries does it use?
Good start, just need to add a bit more detail. I would suggest the extended format for future reviews
How would you store it? Also, you tagged that it is travel friendly. From the look of the toy in the pictures, it doesn't seem to be discreet. Did you mean travel friendly in the sense of it's small enough to keep in a purse or that it is discreet enough for others to not recognize what it is immediately?
Thanks for the review.
