The Mood Kinky Tickler is a mix between a strand of anal beads and a bullet vibrator with 'ears' on it. This is a bit of a strange combination, but depending on how you want to use this toy, it might work very well.

The main use of this toy is for anal insertion. Anal beads aren't meant to be thrust, but to be inserted and slowly removed. You also can insert these and wear them during vaginal intercourse, which can make things more intense for the wearer and their partner.

While you can insert these vaginally, they're an awkward shape and don't feel particularly nice. If you want a toy to use vaginally, something that's more shaft-shaped would be a better bet.

The bullet with ears on the base is good for dual stimulation. You can use it to stimulate your balls/perineum if you're a male wearing these, and you can also draw it forward and use it clitorally if you're female-bodied.

This toy CAN be used only externally, but it's a bit long and bulky to use like that. If you're super inclined to just use the bullet bit, it can be used on the clit, nipples, and other external erogenous zones.

If you are a couple looking for your first anal toy to use together, this would be an all right choice. If you leave this out on your desk, it's very obvious that it's a strand of anal beads, and if questioned there's not much else that you could pass this toy off as. It is an okay design for traveling, but would be a bit big to toss into a purse or overnighter.

Because of the design, this would be good for beginners and moderate users. It's not going to thrill anyone used to larger or longer toys, but this is a good place to start warming up to the feeling of anal penetration.

This toy has a small vibrating bullet in the tickler portion that has quite a few functions. It's not the best, but it does help to add a bit of external stimulation to the anal bead experience.

Once you cycle all the way around, it begins back at setting number one. In order to turn this toy off, you hold the button down for two seconds. When you turn it back on it starts back on the low setting.

While the clitoral vibrations of this toy are a nice addition to the anal experience, they are weak and buzzy. The power of the bullet alone isn't going to be enough to get most women off, but it may aid in coming to orgasm from the anal stimulation.

The vibrations also can't be felt in the beads. Anal vibrators are good for getting vibrations to your prostate or vaginal walls, but this toy won't do that. The beads vibrate little more than they would if they didn't have a bullet attached to them.

The Mood Kinky Tickler is very easy to clean, but it is a bit of a pain to store. This toy is a total lint and dust magnet, so it's best to always wash this both before and after each use. You can wash this toy with soap and water, an antibacterial toy cleaner, or a toy wipe. There aren't any crevices that have proven a problem to clean.

You can also disinfect this toy. You can wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution, or if you want to really clean the insertable portion, you can dip the beads into boiling water for a few minutes. The lack of flexibility in this toy makes it a bit tough to store. It can be laid flat, but if you curl it up it can fit into a small space if there's something to keep it from springing back into shape. Silicone should not be stored in contact with other silicone toys because the two could possibly react. Similarly, silicone lube should not be used on silicone toys.

The Mood Kinky Tickler comes in basic packaging that seems to be universal for the Doc Johnson Mood line. It's not particularly high end, but it is cute and appealing to look at. It's not good for storage, because it's hard to open and larger than the toy itself.

The front of the packaging has a clear window where the toy is visible. There is a piece at the top of the front that states the name of the toy, and the bottom of the front states that it has 10 functions and is made of silicone.

The back of the packaging consists of many colorful dots. These are filled or left blank, depending on if that feature or piece of information applies to the included toy. This will inform you of the batteries, material, functions, etc. It doesn't come with any additional instructions, but none are really needed.

While it's not the highest quality, this packaging would make the toy fine to wrap up and give as a gift. It doesn't dance around what this product is, but it doesn't have any lewd sayings or x-rated pictures like some adult products tend to.

When I got assigned the DR for the Mood Kinky Tickler I wasn't stoked, but it did look like an interesting design. I was disappointed when my first one was dead on arrival, but the admins got me another one shipped out to review. This one worked perfectly!

As I suspected, this toy is a unique design, but isn't going to sweep the industry by storm. It's more than a bit awkward to bend the toy up to your clitoris with the beads inserted, and the shape of the tickler also gets in the way of using this during vaginal penetration.

One reason I don't like these beads very much is that you have to press the length of the strand between the last bead close to your vagina in order to get this to reach your clitoris. All I can think of is that this seems to be a germ superhighway from your anus to your vagina.

While this toy wasn't for me, if you like weak vibrations on your balls and perineum, this would actually be a very interesting toy to play around with. The size also makes this good for beginners and moderate anal users.

I have given this toy 2 out of 5 stars. While it is easy to insert and made of good materials, it's a bit weak, the rigidity can make it uncomfortable, the vibrations don't carry to the beads, and I am concerned about this causing an infection.
