The other door - anal kit by Icon Brands - review by Starlight Requiem

This is my second review for a product that is concealed within a fake book. After carefully looking over the product, I can say that it does have some flaws.

The Packaging
To be honest, hiding your sex toys in a "book" is a novel concept, but only works in practice if you actually have a number of books for it to be merged in with. Otherwise, it just sticks out like a sore thumb. That being said, the package gives the appearance of a mystery or thriller novel, at least in my view.

The first problem is that there is a tag stuck out of the top of the "book" where the product is to hang on a shelf. This is fairly noticeable if you are looking at it on the bookshelf. So, it's not that great of a hiding place. The second problem is that unless you are a fairly open person and willing to "hide in plain sight", you aren't going to risk it anyways for fear of a relative or friend getting bored and looking for a book to read, and stumbling across your sex toys. Oops.

The Toys
Two out of the three are decent. The butt plug has a nice thickness and feel to it, while the one set of beads does as well. Though the handle for these beads makes me think of a corkscrew for a wine bottle (insert joke about popping your cork here).

To be honest, I wonder why the other set of beads is even included. There are anal beginner toys, and then there are toys where you have to go "is it in yet?". These beads are barely the size of normal blueberries, or maybe half the size of a marble. Hardly what I'd call stimulating.

Another thing that gets me is the color. Who in the world could think that a murky brown color is good for an anal toy just isn't using their common sense. That stood out to me as soon as I opened the box and saw the toys. Not that it is very off putting, just that where you use the item, coupled with the color, doesn't really come across as a pleasant image.

Lastly, the obligatory lube is present. A small clear pouch of lube, 10ml. Of course it feels decent enough, and tends to smear on a bit like jelly. So at least you have something to use with the toys.

For my part, the plug was good while I masturbated, but frankly, a vibrating plug can offer you more in the way of tingly pleasure. The beads, with the handle, are good as well. Especially for having a grip to thrust and twist them inside yourself. Which is always fun.

Frankly, I recommend ditching the book and just keeping the toys and lube somewhere private. It's seemingly too big a risk of them being found when left out like that. As far as it being a strictly anal toy, I don't see why that has to be. The beads with handle come across as something that would probably feel pretty good inside of a vagina, especially with the plug also inserted as it was meant to.

So, I believe this is a good item for couples to tease one another, and can spice things up quite a bit, given the lube that's provided.
