The Silicone Ultra Probes Pinpoint Teaser is a good vibrating butt plug, except that the control is less than ideal. Its size makes it less than ideal as a “first timer” toy, but it will please those who are used to anal insertions. I measure the insertable length at 4¼ inches, with a 1.4” diameter (4.45” circumference) at its widest (near the head). The seven vibration speeds and pulse patterns will likely meet most everyone’s needs while giving you a little variety during sessions and from one to the next. Also, the knob at the tip adds a little something extra to those seeking stimulation for their prostate.

The Pinpoint Teaser provides a nice selection of vibration settings. The first three (low, medium, and high) and the last/seventh (super speed) range from a good beginner speed (2 vrooms) up to something fairly strong (4 vrooms)—honestly, I could not tell the difference between “high” and “super speed.” The fourth through sixth options are vibration patterns:

• Surging: swelling to a peak and back down on a five second cycle, almost teasing you
• Pulsating: three strong pulses every second
• Escalating: one longer pulse and four quick pulses all in the span of one second, a little like Morse code.

The wide suction cup base on the toy means it nicely grabs a smooth hard surface, yet it is easy to remove with your fingers, unlike some suction cup toys that are difficult to pry loose. The wide design of the suction cup, however, makes it better suited to using it stuck to a surface rather than held in your hand. Though wide, the suction cup is sufficiently pliable to bend in between your ass cheeks as you attempt to slide the length of it into your hole.

The control wand is a major drawback. There is only one button to move through the seven vibration selections. This means you have to go through all of them to get to one or to turn it off. Also, since the controller is clearly not water proof, you will have to decide how you want to clean the wand/keep it clean. We’re talking about anal play here, so lots of lube is a must. I, for one, don’t want to get lube (and what not) all over something I cannot then clean under the faucet with soap. My solution was to keep the wand in a sandwich bag—not sexy, but it works. Though the toy is not waterproof, you can wash the butt plug itself under the faucet so long as you don’t immerse it or turn it upside down.

The control wand aside, I recommend the Pinpoint Teaser. It has a nice vibration variety to keep the toy experience “fresh” for longer, and the size is right for a weeknight play session (rather than when you want to see how much you can take). Think of it as a Tuesday night kind of toy. I dare say it has become a favorite.
