Bendybeads review by Fun Factory

Having tried anal beads in the past, I did wonder how one set could vary from another – and now I know! The Bendy Beads arrived in great quality packaging, complete with an instruction and safety manual, and even had a sachet of Fun Factory lubricant included, which I thought was a really nice touch.

On first inspection of the beads, I noticed the handle at the bottom used for removal after use of the toy. You always see the warnings about anal play; for example, don’t insert anything that doesn’t have a flared base in case it gets lost, etc. Yet, I’ve always thought about what might happen if a handle or something broke when trying to remove the toy. No chance of this happening with the Bendy Beads. They have a really strong and secure handle so you have no worries about it breaking when removing the toy.

The beads themselves are larger than ones I’ve seen on previous toys, which rules them out as a beginner’s toy; this could potentially scare an anal virgin off! However, if you’re into anal play, this would not concern you. One thing that might, however, is the way the beads are attached to one another. They are very flexible; I feel this makes them quite difficult to insert, particularly the first one as you would have to manoeuvre the bead quite considerably to get it into the back passage. Plus, if your hands and the beads are slippery with lubricant, this could prove to be an almost impossible task.

So overall, the Bendy Beads were reasonable. I really liked the fact they came with lubricant; I think more companies should consider this when marketing sex toys as it makes the customer feel they have received really good value for money. The material they were made from made them a little too pliable, which as I’ve mentioned, makes them difficult to insert. However, once they are in place, they certainly do their job, and because of the sturdy handle, you would have no worries about it breaking and leaving you in an embarrassing predicament. This toy is not for beginners, but there’s no reason that people regularly indulging in anal play wouldn’t have fun with these.
