Flex-a-pleasure anal - vibrating anal plug discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by ladychristie

The flex a pleasure is a great plug for anyone who likes anal play. The shaft that houses the cord doesn't get in the way too much, like traditional plugs you can't use it for extended play you can only use the flex a pleasure during foreplay or intercourse as long as you reposition the shaft part if you change positions. For me the neck was perfect to keep it from slipping back out because sometimes I have a problem keeping some plugs in place.

The flex a pleasure is made of smooth plastic, which when you first open it is kind of smelly although it quickly goes away. Personally I would open it and wait a few days to use it as the smell is a bit overwhelming at first. I was a bit leery because normally I don't like hard toys for anal play but was surprised that I really didn't mind this at all. It felt comfortable and outside of the vibrations I wouldn't have known it was in me.

I love the waterproof design and the smooth texture allowed for easy and pleasurable insertion. I was put off by the shaft at first it looked kind of weird I thought that it would get in the way or be pulled out during intercourse, but was surprised that we didn't even notice it was there and also that it had stayed put the whole time. The plug is 5" at its widest point before going to a slim neck attached to the flared base for safe play. Because of the circumference I wouldn't recommend this toy for a beginner. After using it and feeling the vibrations, I am in love with it. The control is made of velvet touch material with raised grooves to help you turn it, I am not a fan of this as J had a hard time controlling it because he had lube on his hands and couldn't turn the dial.

The flex a pleasure absolutely hit the spot and gave me mind blowing orgasms, I absolutely love it. The strong vibrations were wonderful and J loved being able to feel it as well when he was inside me. The durable shaft gave it easy maneuvering so you can hit all the sensitive spots. While you can hear the plug when not inserted and you think it's going to be loud it is virtually silent when inserted and you won't hear it unless you try and focus on hearing it which I was happy to find out. Our neighbors are close so I don't like the idea of thinking that they can hear me even if they can't.

The flex a pleasure is made of plastic so you can use antibacterial soap to wash it, personally I use edenfantasys wipes they're convenient and I store them with my toys. A pet peeve of mine are toys that collect lint and I can say I don't have this problem with the flex a pleasure so I can just throw it in with my other toys. I don't feel the need to keep it in the box or a baggie as I like to do to prevent that from happening. You can use water based, oil based, or silicone based lube. I personally use water based lube.

Outside of the smell when first opened which can be off putting at first, (it goes away unless you put it to your nose) I was very pleased with the flex a pleasure. I am in love with it and use it a lot. The pros definitely out weigh the cons for me. The price is definitely right to try something different.

I didn't have any problems with this plug, I thought I might because the seam is raised enough to feel with your fingers and I thought that it would scratch me but it didn't I didn't even feel it even as it was going inside me...which I did pay attention to. The smell goes away to virtually unnoticeable. The shaft isn't all that annoying. I personally love this plug it hit all the right notes to make me sing with pleasure.
