Aneros eupho sex toy review
The Aneros is a toy that, due to its small size and straightforward design, is probably best suited for someone who has very limited experience with butt toys and who doesn't require a huge amount of manipulation to achieve a satisfactory level of stimulation.Published: September 14, 2007
To say that I was very disappointed with the Aneros Eupho, although an accurate statement, does not tell the entire story of this product. I suspect that a lot of my trouble with it was simply due to the fact that I was probably expecting a bit too much from this little toy. And I do mean little, since the business end of the Aneros is really no larger than an index finger. That having been said, I will say without hesitation that this device does exactly what it's designed for. However, I really think that it is a toy best used by those who have extremely limited experience with putting things in their butts in general or who are specifically interested in prostate massage.
Its petite size and the fact that it is not as radically shaped as some other prostate massagers on the market means that the level of prostate stimulation one is received is limited to how much - or how little - one is willing to manipulate the toy. And therein lies the problem with the Aneros.
For you see, the part of the toy that does not go into your body is really quite badly designed and executed in my opinion. There is a finger hook on one end of the T and that's quite handy for retrieving the toy, especially since the Aneros is so small that it can definitely feel as if there's a good chance that the thing might actually disappear all the way up one's butt. A somewhat disconcerting feeling to be sure, but one that the finger hook remedies since you can grab it and yank should you feel the Aneros to be in danger of disappearing. Unfortunately, the hook is quite narrow, hard plastic and has a tendency to dig into one butt.
The real problem - other than the very small size of the toy and the hard plastic hook - is that at the other end of the T, opposite the finger hook, there is an aspirin sized and shaped knob that is supposed to be a perineum massager, but both the boyfriend and I found this to be so badly designed as to cause physical pain while using the toy.
The perineum massager is fairly narrow and sharp edged, and unlike the steel ball used for this purpose on other prostate massagers such as the Nexus, this one feels as if it's actually cutting into your perineum while you're using the toy. Trust me, combine this with the feeling that you might lose the entire toy up your butt due to its small size during play, and you've got the makings of a stressful prostate massage rather than a relaxing one.
Now, all that having been said, please realize that this is coming from a person with a fairly substantial amount of butt play experience - both with toys and with hands - so I'm personally going to be looking for a toy that I can either work really hard or, thanks to excellent design, work not at all in order to get the job done.
The Aneros is a toy that, due to its small size and straightforward design, is probably best suited for someone who has very limited experience with butt toys and who doesn't require a huge amount of manipulation to achieve a satisfactory level of stimulation. If that's the case, then I suspect that this would be a decent toy for a beginner. Anyone with more experience would do better with other massagers on the market, or even with a hand attached to a living breathing person.

Is it safe to sleep with an anal toy inside of you?
-
I just read Ward's review of the Aneros Eupho in which he suggested that he sleeps with the toy inside of him. Has anyone else done this with an anal toy? Is this safe? That sounds like it could lead to some kind of disaster, but I guess I can't think of what it might be.

I figure that if it has a very, very sturdy flared base, then why not?

Thank you for viewing Aneros eupho – sex toy review page!

What an absolutely fantastic review. Thank you!
I think you have little idea what you are talking about!
The Aneros is amazing. But its not designed to work out of the box. You have to spend perhaps months of training. The very little stimulation is on purpose. You can archive the most incredible orgasms with the Aneros once you can handle it properly.
You bought also the completly wrong model for you. The Eupho is for the most advanced users. Beginners should start with the Helix or the MGX.
Sorry this did not work for you.
Nice review!
Great review, I love your voice!
I have to say that I'm surprised. My own experience has been that this toy has been responsible for the strongest p-spot orgasms I have ever had. When I first got it I was a little disappointed since it didn't do much for me, but as Thomas points out, this toy takes some practice to master. Once you figure it out, the amount of movement and subsequent contact with the prostate is pretty incredible. I'm no stranger to larger toys being up there, and it is true that sometimes you just want a full feeling back there along with your prostate massage, but to say that the Eupho will give you a stressful prostate massage is missing the mark completely I think. Most of my sessions with the Eupho have left me deliriously relaxed after having one orgasm after another for two hours straight...
great review
