When I first saw the Aneros Helix, I was a little unsure how it would feel. First impressions can be deceiving!

Let me tell you a few of my initial observations. First off, the item is pretty heavy. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised about how heavy the item is. It is obviously made of high quality plastic; not cheap or hallowed plastics that make up some items.

My second observation was its shape, which is medium at the base and tapered to be smaller as it gets to the handle. This makes for easy insertion into the anus with minimal lubrication. There will be no problems getting this toy in no matter how you work it.

Now as for the action: follow the instructions! The first time I used it, I actually thought that this must not be working, but the sensations are actually very mild and increase with use. I noticed a few things, including if you are looking for an 'Oh My God' type of initial sensation, think again. This toy produces very mild and pleasing sensations at first, but the longer you have it inserted, and learn to use the muscles needed for control, the better it gets. After a while, you actually get pleasing sensations just from your body movement alone.

I also noticed that along with the pleasing sensations, it increases orgasm strength. It takes longer to achieve orgasm, and they are stronger and more intense across your whole body.

All in all, even though I was a little timid at first sight and feeling, this item really does do what it claims. I even noticed that adding very small vibrating sensations now and then with a little vibrator can heighten the feelings, but prolonged vibrations impair the effect and I wouldn't recommend it.

I would give this item a 5 because it is simple and easy to use, and yet provides all the aspects of stimulation it claims in its description. I really do like this toy!
