Crystal jellies butt plug junior - butt plug discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Tiina Raita

I bought this toy to be my first butt plug. I already knew when I bought this that it wouldn't last long or be very body safe. The plug is made from some kind of jelly material. It has a nauseating smell to it, even worse than I expected it to have. It smells of something rubbery and a combination of some nasty chemicals. The bottom of this toy somehow also quickly became kind of sticky and yucky. As I said, I never expected it to be a toy of good quality and durability. I still was pretty shocked that I had to throw this toy into the trash bin after only one month of use. I got to use it about three times before I got sick of the smell of chemicals.

You cannot sterilize this toy. You cannot boil it, bleach it, wash it in a dish washer top rack with no soap, NOTHING. All you can do is to wash it thoroughly with soap and pray that nothing too nasty will hide in the pores of this toy.

Now, about the shape and use of this plug. I have to admit, it was good fun to use. It had many flaws in use, too, but overall it was nice to know what a butt plug might feel like. It has almost no neck for it to stay in place firmly. It slips out very easily in use. The base is very large, I think. It's kind of a good thing preventing it to be sucked in. But the base is pretty bulky and not very comfortable in use. Also, the combination of the plug having no decent neck and the base being big and bulky, about the only way for the plug to stay in place is for the user to lay still.

I could suggest this toy for people who are curios of anal play, but then again, there are butt plugs of good quality not too expensive out there. Even if they're three times the price of this one, I'd still suggest that you buy something safe that will last years. This toy is not safe, and it's not going to last long at all.
