This is a fabulous toy for entering the world of anal play. It can be used by advanced users as well, but being called "Anal 101 Intro Beads" kind of speaks for itself.

Use

Men or women can use the Anal 101 Intro Beads for anal stimulation. This toy is a great introductory toy for anyone wanting to venture into the world of anal play. The smaller beads are best for finding out if you even enjoy the sensation of having your anus penetrated. The larger beads are good if you discover that you do enjoy it. Anal play is not for everyone and it takes practice and trust. Go slow to avoid injury. With any anal play, you will want to use a lot of lube. This is a jelly toy, so water-based lubes are best.

For more advanced users, I would still recommend using a little gentility in the insertion. Gentle pumping might be very stimulating for you.

For either beginning or advanced users, I would suggest making sure you are very clean. You can use a water enema/douche system to make sure you are very clean, as the beads will collect the contents of your rectum, which is really gross for your partner if you are playing with a partner... not to mention cleanup.

Material / Texture

The Anal 101 Intro Beads toy is made of a stiff jelly material. It is very firm and it had a rather strong odor to it for a while, though it has finally dissipated over the years. It's porous. You would only want to use it on one person, or if sharing, ALWAYS use a condom. This product cannot be sanitized, so do not boil this product. You will want to clean it with warm water and a mild soap or toy cleaner. This texture and material can be pleasurable for both advanced and beginning users.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of the Anal 101 Intro Beads pretty standard for anal beads. I do like that it is a little firmer and not on a string. It makes pumping the toy much, much easier. Because of the jelly texture, it does travel in a suitcase well, but further than that, it is not too discreet. No mistaking that they're anal beads! I think the size is OK for any level of users, unless you're very advanced in your anal play and are stretched to a certain point, this may not give you enough girth.

For me, personally, I don't particularly care for anal play, but my husband loves it. This was his only toy for a while, so it's moved down on the ladder of pleasure for him. It still provides stimulation for him, but he prefers his other toy. (That is another review for another day... probably tomorrow.)

Performance

The Anal 101 Intro Beads toy is pretty basic. There's no bells or whistles to it. What you see is what you get. When you're starting out with toy play, that is a really good thing. We've taken really good care of this toy and it has lasted us many years.

Care and Maintenance

As stated above, the Anal 101 Intro Beads toy is made of jelly. It is not able to be sanitized, so do not boil it. This should be washed in warm water with either a toy cleaner or a mild soap. You should dry it promptly and store it in a cool, dry, and darkened place (box, drawer, etc.). Never share this toy, unless using a condom over it.

Experience

Until we expanded my husband's anal toy collection (by a whopping 1 toy!), this was always a special treat for him. He doesn't always want anal play, so it's never been overly used in our bed, but until we expanded, we used it probably at least once a month or so over probably 6-7 years!

For me, personally, I prefer a good rim job to anal penetration, so I personally didn't appreciate this toy as much as my husband did, who really enjoys anal play and prostate stimulation. Before we purchased our new anal toy, I would sometimes put a vibe in the "grip hole" to give my husband some extra stimulation! (Be sure to wash your vibes according to material guidelines before re-using the vibe vaginally. Or use a condom over the toy.)

You have some great info here, I was wondering what the size of the smallest and largest beads are though? For some reason they actually look smaller than some others I have seen.

Also, the set I had (way back when) had a sharp seam, does this one have that same sharp seam?

I would say they go from about the size of an eraser tip to about the size of one of the larger rubber balls kids get out of gumball machines. A little larger than that, perhaps. Probably no thicker than an average penis when "somewhat aroused." There is a seam, but it is not sharp at all. Of course, we got our toy quite a while ago and they could have possibly changed the design a little since then.
