Bubble butt bendy - butt plug by Doc Johnson - review by Jobthingy

The Bubble Butt Bendy by Doc Johnson is a cute little Sil-a-Gel plug. It has a very pronounced angle to it that did not do much for me, but made for some pretty intense P-spotting for the Man.

The tip does not taper so you will need some warm up, but once you are there you are good to go. The Bendy will hit your prostate with ease and have you begging for more. If you are of the non-prostate variety, it won’t do much.

With lots of lube and the perfectly flared base, it will slide to the right spot and not get lost. Just be prepared to have a free hand close by to keep it in.

Ahh, the Sil-a-Gel. If you read my Twisty review, you know what I think of the smell of this stuff. I swear the Bendy had an even stronger scent. This might be the love child of the jolly ranchers and the shower curtain. After they made sweet love, and left the sweet plastic like eau de sex behind, they created this Bendy baby. The smell was so much stronger that, when I just opened the brown shipping box it came in, it hit me in the face.

Tacky, smelly, porous, lint collector, and it goes in your bum. Cover this bad boy with a condom at all times to protect yourself and prolong the life of your toy. Lube will be needed, so if you go at it sans condom, any lube will do.

Sil-a-Gel should not be confused with silicone. Although it has "SIL" in the name, it does not contain any silicone. It actually stands for "Safe Ingredients List" which are materials that are found on the FDA's safe materials list.

The Bendy is 3.5 inches long with an insertable length of 2.5 inches. It is 1.25 inches in diameter with no taper in either the head or neck. The top bends into a 45° angle. The flared base is 2.25 inches across and is raised a bit underneath. This raised underside allows for suction power like I have never seen. You guessed right! I have a new door hook.



With no tapered head, warm up is essential for those that are new to anal play and even for those who aren't. The lack of tapered neck does not allow it to stay in. It slides out as fast as it goes in. You will either need to use a free hand to keep it in or suction it to a chair and position yourself that way.

The Bendy is a great plug in theory. The suction is incredible and the size and angle are great for P-spotting. Without a tapered neck though, it just won’t stay put. If the fine people at Doc Johnson could make these toys stay in, it would be grand.

If you don't mind having to hold it in place then you can have great fun with this. Add some vibrations to the mix by holding a vibrating toy against the base for some well diffused anal fun.

Sil-A-Gel is a high maintenance material. It collects all kinds of floating debris. It does have a slight anti-bacterial property so it will not grow nasty from the core. You will want to wash it thoroughly with warm water and anti-bacterial soap before and after each use. You can also use your favorite toy cleaner. Just be sure to get into the embossed Doc Johnson stamp at the flare.

Store it in its original clam shell packaging or a Ziploc bag to keep it dust bunny free.

The safer alternative is to just cover it with a condom. Condoms will make the clean up part much easier. You will want to cover it if you are sharing as well.
