Best Butt Plug For the Price
This is the best butt plug for the price, bar none. It fills you up, is great fun with a partner, and won't leave your wallet empty. BUY IT! :)Published: May 18, 2009

First of all, I want to say that as of today, I still have not been able to get this plug in. I've been trying so hard! It is VERY large! NOT FOR BEGINNERS! However, I am so eager to try again and again... and that is the beauty of this plug - It even makes failure fun!
Put simply, this is almost the best butt plug I've ever used or seen. Doc Johnson was so close to perfection, it's just too bad they missed it.
The material is good, very firm yet forgiving at its thickest point. This allows me to ALMOST get the plug all the way it! I cant wait to feel the POP! when I do!
However, I think this is made with two types of material: and inner and outer material which are not bonded. As a result, something inside the toy always feels 'loose'. Also, the base of the toy seems hollow. This gives it a somewhat cheap feel, which isn't really representative of the toys overall quality.
The size of this toy is 105% too big for me! Every time I try, I am SO CLOSE to getting it in, but I don't seem to be able to! I consider myself normal-sized, so please think of that when you make your decision. Most people will have to do some work to get this sucker in!
However, I feel like once I have it in, I'm in for a lot of fun! The front angle is shallow, and allows for gradual insertion, which I like. The rear angle is much steeper, which probably allows for the POP! everyone else seems to feel.
I think the base is a good size as well, it's not too large, and I haven't had it slip out of my hands either.
The toy cleans easily and does not attract lint or dust, which is important to me. I don't want debris inside me!
Overall, I wish that Doc Johnson had made this toy with slightly better 'internal' material. If it weren't for the 'internal' inconsistencies with material, this toy would be perfect.
Lube is a must with this toy, so remember that and order a large container.

Only if you are used to using penises/dildos/probes as wide as the largest diameter of the plug. otherwise, look for something smaller.

If you are completely new to the anal thing, I'd try something with a thin shaft, like the Njoy Small Plug.

Does anyone find the length on this an issue? Im not sure if everyone is different or what but when i tried this i found it hard to get past the widest girth. I know that it being wide wasn't the issue because i had used a toy slightly wider.

Classic butt plug royal - can someone confirm specs

Also, can someone actually take a tape measure and confirm the circumfrence? At this size even a quarter inch makes a difference. -

The picture you've linked is the old style. It was significantly larger than the new one, and had a very flimsy base that has been known to fold up and follow the rest of the toy in to your bum.
As far as I know, you can't find the old one online. Vendor's simply haven't updated the pictures, but it's identical to the white one (which seems to be updated more frequently).
The current model is somewhere between 2, to 2.25" in diameter. It's no where near 2.5"
I was an original owner of the larger model, but was never able to accommodate it's entire girth (I swear it was well over 2.5"). I ended up tossing it during a move, without realizing that it's impossible to find anymore. The new version just doesn't live up to the original, but the sturdy base is a welcomed improvement. -

What is it made of? Does it smell after opening the package? Does it retain smell? What type of lubricants are safe with it? How do you wash it? How big is it?

If you look under the 'properties' tab, you'll see the plug is made of Rubber. If you click on the 'rubber' link, you'll see which lubricants you can use with this toy.
Silicon and Water based lubes are recommended, and we usually use 'Anal Lube' found on Eden Fantasy. It's silicon based.
This toy smelled slightly when opened, but it was not overbearing, and has diminished with use. This was not an issue at all for me, and I'm an overly clean person.
Cleaning is easy! We use soap and water, which has worked well so far. Using a condom can make cleaning much easier.
A word of caution - THIS SUCKER IS BIG! Just read all the reviews and be ready!
