Booty Starter

For a user looking for a very basic, beginner's anal kit, this would be perfect. However, if you are an advanced user, plan on sharing the toy, or do not like to mess around with TPR/TPE, you will not have a good time with this toy. It did its job well for an easy and fun way to introduce someone to anal, but the material and too-small flared base leaves much to be wanted.

Use

An anal starter kit such as this is sure to tickle your fancy. This is a true beginner's kit as it starts very small and gets just a little bigger. This is perfect for someone who is interested in trying anal out, but is afraid of the size of most anal toys.

This toy is used by holding the ring at the base. It's easier to hook a finger through it to keep a hold on the toy. The tapered bulb of these toys offers a delicious pop for your bum. However, the base of this toy isn't quite flared enough for me to feel completely safe using the toy.

Material / Texture

The material that this toy is made out of is called TPE. It is also known as TPR. It's a rubbery feeling plastic. It is mildly porous. There was no taste but a very mild smell. Because of the drag of the material, and nature of the toy's use, it is recommended that you use lubricant with this product. The feel is otherwise smooth-ish. The plugs are flexible, with a little squish to them. The widest part of the bulb is very firm, with the small tips being the least firm. The rings at the bottom are very stretchy.

This set is meant primarily for beginners and I do not believe advanced anal play users would have much fun with these.

Design / Shape / Size

These bulbs range from mini, small, and medium in size. They are shaped like tear-drop bulbs with a rectangular flare to the base. I believe that someone trying anal for the first time will love this kit. It will be a very easy and non-threatening introduction to the pleasures of anal.

Someone who is more experienced or advanced with anal toys will not like this set as it is very small.

The thin, tapered tip is perfect for slowly inserting the toy, and then the bulb flares out and feels amazing once inside. I do, however, wish that the flared base was a tad bigger, mostly for my own peace of mind.

These are small enough that you could pack them neatly in your suitcase. Discretion would really be up to TSA.

Performance

As mentioned before, I believe this would benefit from having a slightly bigger flared base. There were a few times that I did fear them getting stuck, especially the mini one. However, other than that, these did their job well. I've been a fan of anal for a while, but I had never done it during solo play. This kit did a splendid job of being the right size for a trial method and these are great little plugs to begin with. The mini plug may not bring much satisfaction to any user, but is a good way to get someone used to small stretching.

These plugs are best and only used while hand-held.

Care and Maintenance

Care and maintenance is relatively easy for these plugs. However, because of the TPE/TPR material, they can never be truly disinfected as they are slightly porous. You can wash them with hot water and anti-bacterial soap. Also, this material allows for both water-based and silicone-based lubes to be used without trouble.

My bulbs are stored together in an organza wine bag to keep pet hair off of them. I clean toys before and after each use.

Packaging

These were shipped in a bag that was silver on one side and clear on the other. You tear the bag open to get to the toys. Not ideal for storage re-use.

Personal comments

This is a great set for a beginner. They do not have threatening sizes and they are easy to use. You just slip a finger into one of the rings for a good grip, and insert slowly.

Great review, agree with OH&W that seems like a great set of beginner plugs... just wish they were made of a safer material.

Agreed, if they were made of a material that was safer and shareable, this would be PERFECT. Alas, they're still a decent set.

Nice review! I like how you mentioned the base being a little small.. Gave me a scare or two as well, once I was far into my experience and things were getting... umm.. dangerously slippery.
