Luv buds by California Exotic

When I looked at the link for Luv Buds, I was a little intimidated by the bright colors and all of the nubs. I was a little worried about hygiene, but the fact that they are silicone reassured me; since I knew I could boil them.

Upon arriving home and discovering the package awaiting me there, I was pleasantly surprised to see a friendly looking yellow plug when I opened the box. It was flavorless, smelled nice, and it had enough give to it which hinted the plug might be manageable despite the nubs. This issue of texture still concerned me a little, but I wasn't ready to write it off just yet. I wasn't in the mood for play just then, so I set it aside for the time being.

Later on, while getting hot and bothered over a book I was reading, I thought I'd give the Luv Bud a try. I pulled it out, once again enjoying the lovely scent, and slathered it with a ton of lube; since I was worried about the nubs being a little rough going in.

Getting into position, I carefully pushed it in. Much to my dismay, I found the nubs incredibly painful. I shifted position a little to try and give myself a little leverage, but the pain didn't subside. Nevertheless, I persevered with the hope that once it was fully inside me, things might be a little more comfortable. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a single position that produced any kind of pleasure with this particular toy.

I'd definitely not recommend this toy for beginners. Size-wise it might be appropriate, but I'd suggest starting with something smoother. The suction cup on the back works quite well, and I do like that you can throw it in a dishwasher or boil it. The lack of taste and lovely scent are both definite notes in its favor. If you want something with a lot of texture to it, it might be worth a try, but I'd rather stick to the standard anal plug.
