Since getting the Sasha Grey signature plug, I've totally fallen in love with glass as a material for sex toys. The plug itself works great for me because of it's size, and for those who want a little more, there are two larger sizes available. Furthermore, the Sasha Grey falls into my dream team of sleek, artistic, even dignified looking toys that don't look cheesy or kinky. If James Bond had a butt plug, it would probably look like this. This is a great toy, but a longer neck near the base would make it even better. I gave it three stars since the material is not the easiest to clean and doesn't feel as good as it should for prolonged use.

I had high hopes for this plug when I saw the photo of it and read the dimensions. Unfortunately, those hopes were shattered and this is probably one toy that will only get used during cam shows from time to time.

Doc Johnson has put out a good plug that is ideal for a beginner that may mature into something more, but as for a toy for a mid-level to advance, this doesn't have the adequate requirements.
PVC material is easy to clean and nonabrasive; diameter has both a beginner's and an advanced notch.
Insertable Length is only 3 1/2"; the odd shape leads to difficult insertion.

I am so thrilled that I held out for California Exotics to make this toy. I love toys, but the cost can be prohibitive when trying new things that we may not like. the Love Pacifier is a great example of patience as a virtue: If you like the weight of a presence in your ass for any period of time, but for whatever reason (mine's usually the length) haven't hit gold with traditional plugs, LP's worth its weight in high-grade silicone.

This was the answer to my plug prayers! It's the perfect size for me (not too big, not too small), didn't pop out like [italic|some] plugs can (hint, hint - Plug of Lust), and sat comfortably in place the entire time it was in. Of course there is the matter of the sharp seam that isn't friendly for sensitive parts... But I still think this plug will be very hard to beat. Not that I won't stop looking, of course!

The Love Pacifier Advanced stays in well during orgasm and penetration. It feels comfortable even after a couple hours and gives you a nice full feeling without being overwhelming. Overall the Love Pacifier Advanced is an excellent plug for extended periods of wear or for solo play during masturbation or intercourse. Personal experience with this toy has taught me that it is very apt to add pleasure to just about any sexual experience. If I could do it again, I woudn't, only because I own the Njoy plug and this one is now gathering dust. Before the Njoy plug though, this was the bees knees. This is one of those bittersweet toys that you want to love, but only can if you overlook some significant flaws. This is one toy, especially for women, that will end up being a keeper for your toy box because of the size, the comfort, and the high quality of the Ryder butt plug. It is worth the money. The only problem I could find is that it doesn't have a pointed tip for easier insertion.

The Ryder is very compact, so you can really take it anywhere. It would be great to have on a honeymoon or take to a kink/play party. The colors are beautiful too, I bought the purple version and it looks all shiny like a marble. My boyfriend loves that!

The Ryder is one of those butt plugs that seems to have it all. If you like that stretched, full feeling you just might fall in love with this plug! Tantus makes top quality toys; almost all of our other toys are made by them. The material, texture and shape are all top notch; the base needs to be significantly stronger.

Ryder is an excellent little butt plug that is, in my opinion, suitable even for anal beginners. Ryder is a pretty basic butt plug. It doesn't have any texture or vibrations for extra stimulation, but it does what it is supposed to do: plug your butt. It is filling, comfortable, safe, attractive, and affordable. It stays in place, and does it's job well. If you are looking for a plug which will prepare you for everyday anal sex, this is the one. It is soft, comfortable, and easy-to-clean. I liked the non-sexist packaging, and I plan to get years of use out of this one. But I will also be looking for something a little thicker to prepare myself for more serious, ambitious play.

This is a beautiful plug that's comfortable, is made of easy-to-love silicone, hypo-allergenic, and non-porous. It's also quite ergonomic and easy to use. However, it does attract a gross smell, and it's hard to get the smell off. I have to scrub with soap and water, and let it get really foamy as well as add toy cleaner after each use. Bah! We have to keep it in a plastic bag to keep the particles off. Because it's so comfortable, I'm going to have to give it four stars.

Ryder's shape takes a little more effort to insert considering it's not that large. I would suggest beginners start with an anal plug that has a tapered base. This one is difficult to use and may not be encouraging for people new to anal plugs. For more experienced individuals it's a comfortable plug for longer play.

Why did I hesitate for so long! The Ryder was the best purchase I have ever made. This plug is perfect for preparing for anal sex, it is super comfortable and it doesn't pop out. Essentially it is the "does it all" plug. Now if only I could get my man to try it!

This is the best feeling plug bar none, IMO. Super smooth silicone makes for easy insert-ability and makes for a very comfortable Ryde. The colors are just awesome and you will love the base for long term wear. If all the reviews do not convince you I do not know what will.

At $30 currently, Ryder should be in just about everyone's toy box. While you may not be blown away by this toy, you won't be disappointed either as you're almost guaranteed to find some use for it that you'll like. With it being a silicone toy, it should last virtually forever with proper care which in my mind makes it worth the higher price versus a jelly or rubber toy. I've had mine for over four years and it still looks brand new.

Because of its smooth surface and devilish good looks, some beginners might be tempted to try this toy for their first experience with anal play. If you are looking for a medium-sized plug and have a bit of experience with anal toys - excellent choice. It may even be a decent choice if you are just starting out, but I'd recommend you also pick up a smaller toy. Might be a bit difficult otherwise. It's just barely wide enough that I would not put it in a beginner-friendly category. The purple is really pretty, the silicone is safe, soft and smooth. Pictures really don't do it justice.

The Ryder is a torpedo shaped silicone butt plug. The torpedo shape provides easy insertion/removal and a nice feeling of fullness. My favorite feature of this plug is its base that is super comfortable making this my favorite plug for extended wear. The only cons to this plug are that it may be too simple or small for some users and that the base is a bit flimsy which may be an issue for some. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a mid-sized plug especially one for extended wear.

I consider this a specialty butt plug. It's a great toy if you use it passively such as inserted while doing household chores or shopping. This can be a dangerous toy if you apply pressure on it (intentionally or unintentionally). Use it for extended passive play, but not masturbation or sex. If you put pressure on it, you risk getting it sucked in. Use a butt plug with a larger, more rigid base if you want to use one for masturbation or sex.

The Ryder represents what may be the perfect plug in my mind. The head is big enough to open me up somewhat while the neck is narrow enough and long enough to allow the Ryder to stay in place well. The Ringo is an excellent warm-up plug, and while its design favors warm-up features over retention ease it isn't too bad for moderate-term (~1 hour or less) wear. The silicone density choice is great, as the bulge can squish past a tight sphincter and start relaxing it from the inside out. If you want to move on to large anal toys, this is a great plug to get.

The bottom line is that this toy did not work for me. It is not worth the money. Until they come out with a better design with the base and material, it’s a no go.
But again I am a little more experienced, and that could have been why the base did not stay in place. And the base not staying in place, could also be why the base started to tear after such a short amount of time. Who knows. You be the judge!

The Classic Royal Butt Plug is a really really inexpensive way to play around with size. It is cheap, basic, and pretty comfy overall. The rubber is rugged but has flex and give to it. Yes, I wish it was made of silicone, but for the price I am very pleased with its performance.

The Classic Royal was a blast working up to, and that initial Pop! as it finally entered was pretty amazing. But after that, it didn't have much excitement to it. I've had better experiences with more rounded plugs. I've been told the A-Bomb is the way to go, so hopefully I'll have a better experience with that when it arrives. My final judgment? 6 out of 10.
Size is nice, and the buildup and initial penetration are amazing.
Once in, its shape is uncomfortable for more than a few minutes of wear; not much playability.

This is okay, but I like my toys to vibrate to help things along. I have no problem using it to open up, but really who's going to take the time to open a condom wrapper, covering it up when it's only you that's going to use it. Although it's not the best plug in the world, it's really attractive and it's not too hard to clean. It's rubber though, which isn't one of my favorite materials. The bottom of mine also seems to be coming apart, which isn't safe and will probably harbor bacteria if I'm not careful. This is a cheaper toy that's pointed to more easily insert, but it does have it's cons.

I expected a lot from the Tristan plug, since it was designed by Tristan Taormino, who wrote The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women. I consider the Tristan as the medium between the Ace Plug Small and Ace Plug Royal. This is a stationary plug. Its ergonomic curved shape will lock in you like hook in a fish. Not ideal for dipping or thrusting. This has been a very exciting toy for the two of us. I'm loving the new sensations this has provided both of us with (especially me!). It will continue to be a toy we use once in a while for that special, over the top kind of night. We both highly recommend it, and make sure to have a look at the advanced model if this size isn't right for you. I can't see it being anything but stellar. Price / performance is great, can't get better for the money, give it a shot.

Why isn't this in your cart yet? Shame on you! You can't beat this price for a silicone butt plug. The ring is much more comfortable than those with a disk-like base, so it's perfect to wear all day to keep you warmed up! The curve of it adds to its comfort factor too. I used it to make a kitty tail butt plug - the base of the tail Velcros through the ring. Tail stays nice and snug, and they can be washed separately.
Small, perfect for beginners or nights when you just want a tease. Inexpensive silicone toy.

This toy has all its bang for a small amount of buck. It's strong, good for a beginner (when warmed up properly), and it is such a delight to have it in my toy box. I am glad I made this buyout, and it's going down in history as one of the best buttplugs ever.
Cheap, well made with safe materials, great design.
Sensitive noses may have to wash to get the cherry scent off.

This is a great buy for a silicone toy. Beginners can experiment with this and not be scared or intimidated by the size. I would recommend this toy for a beginner only, if you are more experienced there are upgrades to this toy available, including the Love Pacifier X10 beads, and the love pacifier advanced and the teardrop.

This is a great toy and they did their homework when designing it. The angled neck keeps it securely in place which is hard to find in most other plugs.

This is a great starter toy and the price is reasonable. Silicone is the way to go. The beginner pacifier is not long enough to hit the prostate, but still feels really comfortable.

It's a perfect size for beginners, might be good for moderate users, but probably not good for advanced users, as it might be too small. Doc Johnson's slim butt plug is a very affordable toy. It has a good design and it is highly pleasurable. However, it is cheaply made and you may want to either cover it with a condom or look for other more expensive and hygienic silicone toys.

I believe that the Large Tantus Ripple is *definitely* worth it! A very high-quality product, this toy is versatile in that it fills so many shoes and can be used in many different ways. It's not too expensive, it's very easy to clean, and I *still* can't get over just how pretty the toy is. But it's looks, of course, are only half of the magic ;)
Pleasing to the eye as well as the body; high-quality, the memories that it gave my Fiancé and I :)

The Tantus Ripple Large is a great silicone anal toy for intermediate or advanced players, though probably too intimidating for a complete beginner. The Severin is a fabulous butt plug because it can be inserted in "steps" depending on how much girth you can handle. The bulges separated by "rest areas" allow for slow, gradual insertion. The base of the plug is comfortable to sit on, although somewhat noticeable. The silicone material is easy to clean, but needs plenty of lube and attracts hair and dust easily. Overall, a good step up as an intermediate user's toy and a great one to use for a little exhibitionism.

The Severin from Tantus is a awesome plug for those in the intermediate to advanced side of butt play. The shape lends itself to prostate massage and is very filling. The double flare is an excellent way to graduate from slightly bigger than small plugs to intermediate plugs. If you want something that will definitely fill you up and you can wear it all day, this is the plug for you. Furthermore, it is made of silicone, an absolute make-or-break for me. Also, the tapered center of the base just makes it that much more comfortable for long term wear.

The medium version of Tantus' Severin plug represents the excellent application of a great concept. It starts with a small tip which quickly works up to the first bulge with about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. It reduces to 1 1/4 inches before increasing at the second bulge to 1 7/8 inches. After this second bulge it comes back down to 1 1/8 inches for the neck. The base is not quite as nice for long term wear as some others, but it is an improvement over the old base.
Silicone, two staging areas allow for slow insertion, good size for the intermediate anal player.
Not good for the beginner, but something to work up to. The base is just okay.

The Severin Medium is on the big end of "medium" plugs, but the two bulges provide a "rest area" for easy insertion. Once inside, it's both secure and stimulating. The Severin's bulges feel great inside, and it's equipped with a long and comfortable neck and a base that is both discreet and comfy.
