Cheap In Both Senses of The Word

I think this toy is worth its cost considering how cheap it is. Since this is probably one of your first few anal toys, you may want to look at a higher end toy though as it's hard enough learning how to relax your anal muscles without having the discomfort from the seam on this toy.

Use

So to be upfront, I mainly decided to review the Love Pacifier Beginner as I am interested in getting the Pure Plug Large and wanted to try out a similarly designed toy. This way I could see if I might like this design of plug and if I didn't, I hadn't spent $80 on it. So from this stand point, the Love Pacifiers (both this one and the Advanced) are good if you're curious about getting one of these plugs because of the similar design. I could have gone with the Advanced model as it is the same diameter as the Pure Plug Large, which I wish to get, but I also wanted to give my wife a chance to try it as well since she is still new to anything anal. I am afraid to have her use it though as I think it would be uncomfortable for her because of the seam discussed in the sections below.

Now as far as uses, I've already mentioned my main use for this toy but there are quite a few others as well. I would say the most likely 2nd use for me with this plug is for long term wear. I would say it's more for the long term wear where stimulation is the goal rather than stretching for a larger toy or anal sex as the neck is so thin. I don't do this too often but this toy is definitely designed with this in mind. The few times I have it has been fairly comfortable. Its base is large enough to not have to worry about it being sucked in but is thin enough to easily sit between the butt cheeks.

A number of other uses for this toy include: using during masturbation, during intercourse, during oral sex or manual sex. In each of these cases it can be used on either male or female alike.

Due to its small size, this toy would also be pretty easy to travel with and while not the most discreet, it also doesn't scream sex toy like a realistic dildo would.

This toy is not long enough to reach my prostate but while not good for prostate stimulation, it does still stimulate the anal nerve endings.

Material / Texture

The Love Pacifier Beginner is made out of silicone which makes it non-porous and a great all around material with only a few rules to follow (see Care & Maintenance section). As others have said, the silicone used in this toy is fairly stiff in the head of the toy. Because it is so thin, the neck and handle on this plug is much more flexible though. In order to insert it you need to hold it just beneath the head because of this. I think if they'd gone with a softer silicone, then the neck and handle would be even more flimsy so I'm ok with how hard the silicone is. My pacifier is a dark purple color. It has a fairly matte color with just a little bit of a shine to it. When I first got my pacifier I smelled it to see if it had the same berry like smell as others have mentioned and indeed it was there. Not overbearing but definitely present. After a few uses, I can still smell the berry type scent but I don't smell any butt smells on it from use.

Design / Shape / Size

Overall I liked the size of this toy. It's fairly small making it good for beginners and for more advanced users it is still useful as a long term wear plug. As far as the head goes, it's actually pretty similar in size and shape to my Tantus Ace Small although I prefer the design of the Ace Small over this toy.

This toy is too short to reach my prostate and while the Advanced model may have reached it, the Pure Plug Large is only .25" longer internally which I don't think would be enough to stimulate it. I'm also looking at getting the Cyberglass perfect p-spot when it comes out as its internal length is 1.25" longer than the Love Pacifier Begineer which I think should be long enough to hit my prostate. I still may get the Pure Plug Large but now I know that it won't be providing me any prostate stimulation if I do. So in that respect this toy was worth it.

Performance

I would have to say the best thing about the Love Pacifier Beginner is the base on it. At first it seems too big as it sticks out past your butt cheeks which would usually make it uncomfortable to sit down on. Because the base is so thin though it actually bends fairly easily making it comfortable even to sit on. It does provide a bit of upward pressure still but it's more of a pleasing tease than an uncomfortable feeling. I took some photos of the base under different pressures so you can see what I mean by this.
NO PRESSURE
PUSHING DOWN SLIGHTLY
PUSHING DOWN MODERATE/HEAVY

My main gripe with this toy is the seam that runs down the center of the toy. While not painful, it is an irritant and makes any sort of motion including insertion and removal less pleasurable. I wish I could take off half a star as I don't think this is a five or even a four star toy because of this but I would give it 3.5 Stars if I could. I plan to either try a razor blade or sandpaper eventually to see if this may get rid of the irritation from it. I will post a follow up review if I do.

Care and Maintenance

I have seen some reviews mention this toy not being 100% silicone but it does say it is on the outside of the box that it came in so I will treat it as such. As with all silicone toys, you should not use silicone lubes on it, or if you do, make sure to do a spot test first to see if it reacts with the toy. Silicone toys should also not touch other silicone toys for the same reason that they may react with one another.

Silicone is non-porous and easily cleaned with soap and water. This will suffice for a single-user used only anally but if you intend to try this in another orifice or with a partner then sterilization is required. This can be accomplished by either boiling it in water or soaking it in a 10% bleach solution. Some people also mention washing it in a dishwasher on the top rack with no detergent but I don't think I'd trust this as much since the water never actually gets up to boiling this way. An alternative to sterilizing would be to use a condom over the toy instead. This may also help with the seam problem as well.

Packaging

The Love Pacifier Beginner came in a small box about 5" wide by 6" tall by 1.5" deep. Opening the container was easy and quick. Inside, the toy is sealed in a plastic baggy which lets you know it hasn't been opened before. I was also happy to see that there was no pornography or anything offensive which is always nice. While I did not have any issues with the packaging, I don't think it would be very good for storing it in since it takes up more room than is necessary and you'd either have to just lay it inside on the cardboard or try to put it back in the original bag which doesn't do any better than a plastic bag and is more time consuming. There really isn't much information about the toy on the outside other than a couple bullet points on why you should buy it. One of these is the fact that like all pure silicone toys it's Phalates Free which is one of the big benefits of silicone toys.
Below are some pictures I took of the toy packaging:

Personal comments

While it's just a little bit bigger for beginners. I would recommend looking into the Tantus Ace Small over this toy. Maybe it's because it's my latest favorite but I think this would be a better plug than this one. It's close to the same head size and has a very comfortable neck and base. It also does not have a seam like this toy has. If your interest is in the Pure Plugs though, I think the Love Pacifier Begineer would be a good test to see whether or not you would like their design at a fraction of the cost.
Follow-up commentary
This is my second time modifying a toy and boy am I glad I did. What I did to modify this toy was to take a razor blade and scrape away a good part of the seam on it. I also used some sandpaper as well. Here are some pictures of what it looked like before:

I'm not sure if you can see but I did cause some nicks and scratches on the toy but I'm ok with that.

As I stated in my review, this toy is already worth its price considering how cheap it is for a silicone butt plug. But if you're willing to modify this toy then I think I can actually give this toy a five star rating. I wore this for several hours the other day and it was extremely comfortable. I did have to apply more lube 2-3 times but other than that, this is the most comfortable plug I have. Even though the seam is still there a little bit, it's not nearly as bad and I can no longer feel it. If you don't wish to modify your toy, then I would recommend looking into the pure plugs otherwise this toy is a great choice with a little modification.

Really nice review. I have this plug, but I've never used it. I'm too much of an anal-phobe.

Yours came in a box?? Mine arrived in just in a plastic bag.

Tuesday, yes it came in the box in the pictures. It's weird how sometimes they do that. When order directly from Tantus it comes in a little bag but when I order from Eden, it comes in a nice box.

Great review, thanks! I like your warning about the seam, your suggestions on what to do about it and the before and after pictures. I have another silicone toy that has a seam and I've been hesitating on modifying it, but after seeing how yours turned out I think I might go ahead with it.
