If you want to have a pleasant anal experience, this provides an absolutely needed preparation. If you don't take advantage of what this and similar products provide, your anal sex adventure could easily turn out, well.. crappy.

The best time to use this is shortly before you are planning to engage in anal sex/play, but it can also be used just to clean yourself out if you feel the desire to. I would recommend to only use this in the bathroom, as you will need to release the liquid after and it will not be clean.

All you need to do to use this douche is pull off the bulb at the bottom and fill it with water, then slide the nozzle back into it to get a good tight seal. Alternatively: you can have a container filled with the water, depress the bulb, then insert the nozzle end and relax your grip on the bulb to suck in the water.
The best temperature for the water is up to the user's preference, but an always good choice is water at or slightly above body temperature. Do NOT fill it with water that is too hot, as it can cause pain or injury to your internal organs.

Once the bulb is filled with water you slide the red nozzle into yourself as deep as you want, but deeper is better for a good clean. Once it's in you squeeze the bulb to expel all the water.

Do NOT stop squeezing the bulb at this point, otherwise you will pull back in liquid. Instead, slide the nozzle back out and then release. You may want to use more than one bulb of water for a cleanse, but everyone's body is different. If you do need more than one, repeat the same process above - the water will not come out if you're careful.

When you're ready to release, just go sit on the toilet and relax and push a little if needed. Ideally you should repeat the process until the water comes out completely clear, indicating that you are completely clean and good to go.

The nozzle isn't long or thick, so you don't need to be too cautious with this product. The only thing to be careful of is avoiding extreme highs and lows in the temperature of the water.

I want to add, it is actually advised to wait at least 1 hour after douching for natural lubrication to re-accumulate before engaging in anal sex. If you read online a lot of people do fine without the waiting period, especially with a lot of lube and taking it slow.

Ultimately it is your choice, but I would recommend doing some brief reading to be informed on possible risks.

The material of this douche is polypropylene and PVC. The bulb end is easy to squeeze but still holds its form well otherwise. The nozzle is very hard and firm, with no give which makes for an easy insertion. The nozzle has no odor to it, but the bulb has a slight "dog toy" rubber smell to it. This smell is weak and you won't notice when you use it so I didn't include it in the tags.

Unfortunately there is no good way to sanitize this product, but I'll cover that later.

This is a very well designed product. It's very ergonomically shaped, and is perfect for the purpose it serves. The solidness of the nozzle end mixed with its narrow diameter make it easy to insert even without the assistance of lube, and its length is just enough to reach an optimal depth for a good clean. The bulb is big enough to hold a good volume of water, but not so big as to be hard to squeeze and use.

There is absolutely nothing I would change about the size or shape of this toy.

The best thing about this product is that it can always provide a good cleaning when you need it. The only part receiving any wear is the bulb, and it isn't affected by it at all. The nozzle can slide in and out easily without any spillage of fluid, even if you want to use more than one bulb of water for a cleanse. The bulb empties nearly all of its water if you give it a good thorough squeeze.

Again, I want to say that you should not release your squeeze on the bulb while it is still inside you, because it will just suck the water back in.

To clean this douche, all you need is warm water and antibacterial soap.

To clean the bulb, I like to put some soap in it first and then fill about 2/3 of the way up with warm water. Then, I cover the hole on the top with my thumb or palm and shake it around for several seconds to make sure the warm soapy water gets it all clean. I then stick the nozzle back in, and shoot the same soapy water out and into a sink - effective cleaning them both at the same time.

After you've done the soap rinse, do the same process but with just the warm water to wash out any residual soap that may have been left behind. Take the nozzle end out, and leave the bulb out to air dry.


Unfortunately there is no way to completely sanitize this product, so I would highly recommend cleaning it as shortly after use as possible.

There is no special maintenance needed outside of cleaning after use.
