Tantus knows how to make anal plugs right and this one definitely lives up. For me this was the perfect plug to bring me from beginner to medium in experience level.

It is most definitely an ideal plug because it has a nice flared base, and the base is contoured to fit comfortably in place during use. I also found it stays in place amazingly well. Either sex can enjoy this plug, just be sure to completely sterilize before sharing with another partner.

The Severin is made of 100% silicone. It is an extremely body safe material that ranks a 10 out of 10 on the Eden Safety Scale. This means it won’t leak any nasty chemicals into your body, it’s non-porous so it won’t hold bacteria, and it is hypo-allergenic and latex free.

This is very smooth which is important for a sensitive area such as the butt. There are no seams or rough edges on the insertable portion. It’s somewhat squishy so it won’t lose its shape. It tends to collect lint and hair quite easily so be diligent about cleaning.

The design is absolutely perfect! I love how it has the smaller bulge, then the larger bulge. The first bulge helps get things warmed up and allows me to ease into the second bulge. It’s like having two toys in one.

The smaller bulge is about 3 ½” in circumference, the large bulge is 4 ¾” in circumference, and the neck is 3” around. It is 4” insertable so it’s pretty short and stout. This is not a plug for those just starting out, but it’s a nice introduction to medium level toys.

This plug was definitely a huge step up for me. I’ve never used anything this large. In fact, when I first got this I thought it was going to be too large, but a lot of patients, perseverance, and sheer willpower allowed me to conquer this plug.

The smaller bulge is key to this design. I’m relatively new to anal so I honestly believe the second bulge would be impossible without that smaller one for me at least. It took a few tries before I was able to get passed the first bulge. When I finally inserted the whole thing, I felt as though a whole new world opened up to me. I was sure it was going to hurt but surprisingly my body adjusted to it quite nicely. The trick is lots and lots of lube. It usually takes me three applications of lube to make is slide smoothly in.

I highly recommend this plug. It’s especially great for those like me moving from the beginner stage to the medium stage. It might take me a while to get passed this size, but for now, this plug and I are getting along quite nicely. The Severin deserves 5 stars from me because it has allowed me to push my boundaries and made me feel better about experimenting in this area.

I recommend washing before and after use to keep it sanitary. It can also be sterilized by bleaching with a 10 percent bleach solution or by boiling for a few minutes.

Even though this is made of silicone, sometimes plugs can retain a smell after a while. Usually dish soap will do the trick, or you can rub tea tree oil and let it sit for a few hours, then rinse thoroughly.

Try to only stick to water based lubes because silicone lubes can damage the material, but you can always do a spot test on the base to see if the lube will bond.

This plug attracts hair and lint quite easily so store it in a little baggy or something to protect it.
