-Packaging-

The Silicone Love Rider G-Caress dildo arrives in simple packaging, a pink and white coloured box with images of the product itself on its front and sides and a bullet list of its features on the back of the box. The Love Rider is described as “The complete strap-on system accessory” on the front of the box. It lists the bullet points in 5 languages English, German, French, Spanish and Russian. I am pleased to say the packaging is free from sleazy imagery. It is a small thing but it makes for a nice experience not to have some overly dolled up model TRYING to be sexy. Inside the dildo is in a sealed plastic bag to keep dust/dirt from getting at it. Inside the dildo is inside a sealed clear plastic bag to keep it from getting dust or dirt on it. The packaging is basic but works well.



-First Impressions-

Seeing the Love Rider in person for the first time it reminded us of either a sci-fi themed alien probe type toy or a pink tentacle with little suckers on its tip. The design is quite unusual and not really comparable to other toy in our collection. There is a noticeable g-spot curve in its shape and the head of the dildo is covered with stimulating nubs on the side that face the g-spot. We were unsure as to whether these would work to its advantage as a g-spot toy or whether they would instead prove to be too intense or even uncomfortable for my partner.



-Material/Specifications-

The Love Rider is made from 100% silicone. It comes in both black and pink, the colour we got was pink. The toy is firm and has a velvety soft finish. As you would expect with a silicone toy it is completely scent and taste free. Silicone is one of the safest materials you can get for toys. It is non-porous, latex and phthalate free. Basically this means it won’t take in any bodily fluids in use. It has a suction cup/harness compatible base. It has a very gradual taper along the length as well as the bulbous head. The dimensions are as follows.

Overall length = 6 ½ Inches
Insertable length = 6 Inches
Circumference = 5 Inches (at its widest)


-In Use-

With the velvet finish having a drag to it, a drop of water or oil based lubricant is needed for a comfortable insertion of the Love Riders’ nubbed head. As described by partner the textured head does feel intense and quite unlike any other toy on initial insertion; my partner did still find it both comfortable and pleasurable. While thrusting, the nubs can be felt stimulating the front wall and the curve of the Love Rider seeks out and stimulates the g-spot with ease.

The silicone feels firm enough that it provides a decent level of pressure against the g-spot but doesn’t feel at all bruising when you thrust hard. Once an adequate amount of lube is used the nubs can feel intensely pleasing without any discomfort. We did find that you typically need to re-apply lubricant during each use.

The base of the toy is a dual purpose suction cup/harness flare. Initially I wasn’t sure what the suction cup would be like because it doesn’t look deep enough. However when we tried it out on our coffee table my partner was actually able to lift the table a little and move it around. So it would work very well to ride it on tile or a chair. The base doubles up for harness use. It would be compatible for a harness up to a 1.5 inch diameter. It would be ideal for use on a woman but I personally think the textured head would be too prickly for anal play and might prove to be very uncomfortable.

The size and shape of the toy worked great for my partner; it is an average size toy so would suit beginners or intermediate players. Even the tip works well for g-spot stimulation so those who would normally favour a larger toy might like this.

-Care-
Once you have finished with the toy you have a few options with regard cleaning. The simplest option is to use warm water and a mild anti-bacterial soap or specialist toy cleaner. But because it is silicone you can boil it to sterilise it or even throw it in the top rack of the dish washer. For storage we find a zip-seal sandwich bag works best as it doesn’t take up any extra room and it keeps the toy free from dust or dirt and ready for use.

-Summary-

Honestly I didn’t know what to expect from this toy and it totally exceeded our expectations. It is nice to see silicone toys becoming more affordable as material is important. The design of the toy as I mentioned is pretty unique amongst our vast (around 50) dildo collection. It has a great shape for stimulating the G-spot and even has a gradual decrease in girth as it goes in. The textured tip worked really well for my partner but it is something to consider for yourself. If you find textured stimulation a bit too intense on the G-spot then this toy might not be for you. The same is true of anal play. While it has a great shape for stimulating the prostate the textured nubs might be a little bit too much for some.

Overall we were both very impressed with this toy. It is made from a great material, has a great design and really feels nice during use. The base makes it ideal for harness use but is also one of the best suction cups we have come across.
