Glo pop plug - vibrating anal plug discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Smashing

This was my first anal toy and it was an excellent plug to start with. It's a modest size and stays put better than a lot of plugs and the base is wide and study enough that I'm never worried that the plug could get "lost". The vibrations are pretty good, but the twist-cap control can make it difficult to turn on and off, especially if your hands aren't completely dry. The plug itself is essentially a pvc sleeve that fits over a vibrating bullet, meaning the bottom portion is open and if you don't take the bullet out, there is a very good chance that trying to wash the bottom potion will result in water pooling inside and ruining the bullet.

The vibrating portion can be removed for cleaning with soap and water and the toy itself is very easy to clean, but the rubbery, pool toy smell lingers on for some time. This is also a good toy to combine with vibrators/dildos because it is smaller, but the jury's still out on its use during sex. My partner told me that using it during sex made things uncomfortably tight for him, which makes sense given the rounder shape instead of the slimmer cone shapes of other plugs. The round shape can also make insertion a little more awkward as well because it doesn't start at a small point and get bigger, like most plugs. However, I have found that this makes the Glo Pop a great pre-anal warm-up.

I really love the aesthetics of this toy as well, including the packaging it came in. The neon colors look very modern and fun, with the added bonus of the toy glowing in the dark/under blacklight. The packaging was similarly stylish and didn't look like something I bought at that sketchy shop downtown. The toy itself is also relatively more discreet.
