Deluxe wonder plug - vibrating anal plug discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by lightrunner

The Deluxe Wonder Plug is a decent toy for what it is intended for, which is to train and prep for larger toys, or extended play. It was not as great as I was hoping for, though, and has a lot of room for improvement. My favorite feature would be that it is easy to use for beginners because it starts out small and can get very large if you wanted for experienced toy users also. With it being able to expand to large sizes, it can definitely get you ready for a wide variety of toys. When it's at a large size it slips out pretty easily, and with all the tubing, it can't be used for an extended time. If you wanted to wear it discreetly the cords and tubes would make it difficult also. When inflated, it bulges out to one side more than the other, and this could cause stress and make the toy break. It's very easy to deflate, though. All you need to do is press the valve, and it deflates instantly. Being made of rubber, it has a smell but not an overwhelming one.

The vibration remote is not waterproof, so you can't use it in the shower, and it's made of pretty cheap plastic and can break easily. Overall the toy does a lot for the price, but it does not do a lot very well. The vibrations are decent, and not too strong. They would be suitable for most people who enjoy vibration. It did not do it for me, and whenever I use this toy, I generally don't use the vibrating function because it falls a bit flat for me. It is just too loud for me to use in a shared living space with room mates.

When I use it now, it's just for warming up to larger toys. With its medium start size, its easy for experienced users but could be a challenge for beginners. It can get inflated to a very large size, wider then a fist. It does not provide much pleasure for me, though. It's just a means to an end, which I suppose would be the best feature of this toy for me. I can use it to make better and larger toys a bit easier to use. It's also very simple to clean which is a plus, but it is rubber and can retain smells unlike silicone. To wash it you need to use soap and water and clean it thoroughly or use a condom over the toy to make clean up easier. This is important with rubber because it can hold bacteria and is porous, so it can't be sterilized.
