Butt plug by Doc Johnson
When I saw a picture of the Rippley anal plug, I was a little intimidated. It looked much bigger than it actually is. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It’s about the size of my palm.
One of the first things both my husband and I noticed was the smell. The Sil-A-Gel it is made of puts off a fairly strong odor. It’s not enough to turn you off, but it is a bit annoying. The toy itself is pretty firm. It has a little give but not too much.
I would not recommend this toy for a beginner because of the blunt tip. You would need a lot of foreplay and large amounts of lube to make this comfortable for someone just starting out with anal toys.
I tried this toy in the shower first. It has a mild suction at the end. It stuck to the wall of my shower pretty efficiently, but it was hard to get in since it is short in length. However, the side of my bath tub is quite wide so I stuck it to that and rode it. You can’t be vigorous with it because the suction won’t hold, but gently rocking back and forth is really nice, and the suction helped to keep it in place. It doesn’t go in far enough to be uncomfortable, but it gets just enough in to feel good.
Since it is pretty short, my husband was curious if you could see it when I was walking around the house while it was in and I was wearing clothes. You can’t tell that it is in, but it is hard to walk without feeling like it is going to fall out. I felt like I had to concentrate to keep it in. Sitting down with it in was fairly comfortable.
It was very easy to clean (I think the easiest toy I’ve ever owned). It doesn’t need any special toy cleaner. You just use warm water and mild soap. The size of the toy makes it easy to hide away from curious little eyes. Overall, this was a great product for intermediate anal play.
