useful reviewMy first impression when opening the Dr. Joel Kaplan Prostate Massager box was that the toy seemed small and compact. I was a little unsure how it would perform; as the head portion of the unit is smaller then a bullet vibrator. This turns out to be a bonus, especially to first time anal users, beginners, or those just wanting a small compact item to take with them while traveling.
One of the concerns I had was there is no rim to prevent you and/or your partner from getting a little carried away; you know, the 'how far can it go' mode. But in reality that would be pretty easy to rectify as the massager pretty much self guides itself and doesn't allow for total penetration without some amount of force on your part.
To my surprise the massager is very strong, the control is easy to use and, because of the power this compact unit has, it really does make up for its size. Another great feature of this massager is its flexibility for other activities. It makes a great clitoral stimulator for women; my partner enjoys it even more then her compact clit stimulator and because of the shape of it she can use it as a small vibrator if she's in the mood.
The color is a dark smoky color; I guess they didn't see a need to make it all flashy like some other toys which is fine with me. I like it because as a guy new to anal experiences, it is small enough to satisfy but not so large as to intimidate or cause discomfort. It also states it is waterproof; and as far as I can tell, it is. I have had no leaking into the unit even after testing it by holding it under water for a few minutes.
All in all I think the Dr. Joel Kaplan Prostate Massager is a great item for men new to anal toys. It is also good for women who like a small but strong vibrator for both vagina and anal stimulation. The toy is useful for all around fun during couple's play; as an additional massaging element for teasing each other. I would give this item a solid 4 because of the flexibility, compactness, and power of the item.

- Glad this toy worked out for you, my husband really didn't get much satisfaction from it besides the vibration. Did you find it difficult to stroke your prostate with this? Because for my husband it seemed impossible.
Leave a commentA couple questions about this massager. How well does it reach the prostate?! Does the angle help? How strong are the vibrations on the prostate? Do they feel isolated to the tip of the device, or spread throughout the whole length of the toy? Have you used this massager for milking/applying pressure to the prostate? If so, how rigid and durable did it feel? Did it work well? Also, is the device seemless?
For a prostate specific toy, I'd be interested to hear more about some of these specifics.
