Emma's rose bulb by California Exotic

The Emma's rose bulb butt plug is a somewhat daunting toy. I knew that going in. I was actually asked if I wanted to review this toy, due to its girth. I happily accepted and waited by the P.O. Box. The day it arrived, I was ready as ready could be.

When I took it out of the package, my first thought was, "how pretty!" My second thought was, "that's not so big - I have no fears!" Ahem. Yes, I really thought that. I have other anal sex toys similarly sized, so it didn't seem huge or even terribly large. I was ready to go!

Lube, lube and more lube went all over the Emma's rose bulb. It does, indeed look like a rose that hasn't yet bloomed. It has lovely little ridges that make it so. Whilst lubing my pretty rose, I noticed one thing that I absolutely did not like. The wire that goes to the battery pack/controls leads out of the side of the bulb, rather than the bottom. I don't know what is normal, as this is one of my first butt plugs. I knew, however, that I would feel that wire, and I would not like it. I pressed on.

The vibrations from the bullet were very nice. Of the four settings, I found the third to be just right. Unfortunately, after much relaxing and pushing and pressing and pressure, I was unable to get the Rose bulb butt plug in all the way. All in all, the Emma's Rose Bulb butt plug is a nice toy. I would recommend the Rose bulb only to those who like their toys on the girthy side. It might not look all that large but trust me, it's HUGE!
