Excellent for beginners!

Overall this was a great starter kit. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in exploring anal play as it is not a huge investment. No one wants to spend top dollar on a toy to find out that it just doesn't work for them or they dislike the sensations.

Pros:
Great for beginners, good price, decent size range, versatile, harness compatible
Cons:
Tacky surface, range of colors, smell, no girth range

useful review
This set was wonderful for venturing in to anal play. The different lengths were nice and gradual, the largest one being of average size so nothing was too intimidating. They're also harness compatible, which is great. The shortest one doesn't work well with a harness but it does make a good butt plug. The middle sized one I also would not recommend with a harness either but it works great for manual use. The longest one is just fine with a harness and the smaller ones are great to work your way up with.

The suction cup works great. The shower, on the wall, on a chair or stool, you name it, they'll stick. Just make sure to use a condom over them or wash thoroughly with soap and water or a good toy cleaner since they're made of a porous material and ESPECIALLY if you use them for both anal and vaginal play.

A lot of toys keep that icky plastic smell but I was pleased that these did not. The surface is tacky. I recommend storing them in a satin pouch and occasionally using a bit of cornstarch to keep tackiness away. They attract fuzzies and lint like crazy otherwise.

Overall, great set for beginners or the more experienced who want a versatile set for a good price in their toy collection. My only complaint is the colors, they're a bit bright and silly. I would have preferred that there was a more natural colored option or even just plain black, white, grey, or a chocolate series too. You get what you pay for though, it's a great kit for a great price to start out with. I would have liked if they increased the girth as well as the length though. All of these have relatively the same girth, just increasing length.
Experience
I used these mostly for pegging, they worked well to experiment. The short pink one was used as a plug at first to get my partner to warm up to the sensation as this was new for him. Then we moved on to manually thrusting in and out using the mid range one. Once he was comfortable with that I used the largest green one with a strap on. Remember, water based lube works best for these! The flared suction cup base is harness compatible but make sure you have the right size ring to keep it in place. My ring was a bit large so it was a little fiddly and more wobbly than I'd have liked. Still a great experience. I look forward to trying different sized rings with my harness to find a more secure fit.

Another thing that you can do is use the short one as a butt plug and one of the larger ones for vaginal stimulation if you enjoy double penetration during partnered sex or masturbation.
Follow-up commentary
This was a great kit for beginners, but once you've gained some experience, I'd advise moving on to some more body-friendly materials, like silicone. These are porous and tacky. They're also a bit difficult to clean. If you don't want to invest in anything super-expensive and are a beginner, I really recommend giving these a shot though. They did the trick and opened up a whole new region to explore.

What are the lengths on all three of the anal plugs? Would you have any condoms to recommend (sizes mainly for each one) in case one does share the toys? Do they contain seams on the bottom that would cause irritation or are they smooth?

Looking good! I would use the mentor program to really dig deeper.

I didn't notice any seams. A standard sized condom will do well but for the shorter ones I kind of had to roll it past the base and tuck it behind to keep it in place, if that makes sense. . The lengths are all listed on the product info page.

  • Is the material of these toys safe?
    • is the material safe if you don't share it?
    • I personally wouldn't buy these toys, but if you do buy them and want to use them, I'd recommend using a condom even if you're the only person who will be using them. It's just not a very safe material. Here is the information about the material, from the Sex Toy Materials Index:

      SensaFirm

      Material safety
      2

      Components
      Thermal plastic elastomer variations

      Properties
Compounded to mimic real skin. The high molecular density of these materials allows flexibility and resilience.

      Hygiene And Maintenance
These materials are very porous, making it difficult to clean and easy for germs and dirt to hide. Should be protected with a condom. They are extremely sensitive and should be cleaned following every use with warm water and toy cleaner or antibacterial soap. Toys made of these materials should be stored in dark cool place.

      Lubricants
      Water based only

  • How is the Feel and Texture?
    • To all those who have purchased these, how do they feel? They look very smooth and pliable. Is that how they feel inside of you? I just don't want to purchase something that is hard and uncomfortable.
    • There are twelve reviews on the product page. Before asking questions like this, always check out the reviews first - usually you can find what you're looking for. :)
    • Read the reviews. This toy is made of "Sensofirm" (a "2" out of 10 safety ratings. That is probably the reason it is out of stock and will probably stay out of stock.) Sensofirm is not a healthy or safe material, based on the fact that it is very porous and is an anal toy! Bacteria can get trapped in the pores of the toy and cause health problems. There are better anal toys out there.

Go through the silicone anal toys and read the reviews if you are interested in this kind of toy. There are literally dozens, if not hundreds of healthy anal toys that have been reviewed by Eden reviewers.

Click on the name of the toy on the product page and it will say "read reviews." Go to the reviews, read the highest rated ones first and they will tell you just about everything you want to know about the toy.

Eden has over 50,000 products, so reading the reviews is the best way to find out what you need.

  • SensaFirm as anal toy
    • This website states SensaFirm as porus, is this a acceptable w/out use of condom?
    • Quote: This website states SensaFirm as porus, is this a acceptable w/out use of condom?
You can use it without a condom for personal use. It will need to be cleaned very well between uses and cannot be sterilized. You definitely should use a condom if you are using with, or sharing with anyone you are not already fluid bonded with.
    • I wouldn't bother with the Booty Bumper Kit. The price is near the cost of a good quality silicone dildo that you wouldn't need to worry about, and the "kit" portion is practically useless - they're all 1-1/2" in diameter, so the only variance is the length. Measure out 3-1/2" on your silicone dildo, put your hand there, and you have the short. Move your hand to 5" and you have your medium, and so on.

The Tantus Silk Medium, the Acute, or any other of the many silicone dildos out there would be a better choice for not much more money, and instead of lasting one to two years it would last for life.
