Emerald explorer - anal toy by SSA Glass - review by deveener

I highly recommend this toy for beginners who would like to explore anal play. As with other glass toys, this can be used either cold or warm, so long as you're comfortable with the temperature. I personally enjoy this toy when it is room temperature, which feels cold against my skin. This toy is easily manipulated, but i find is easiest to deal with while lying down. It doesn't work well to use it while sitting because of the big handle.

This isn't necessarily a downside, however. The big handle allows me to feel at ease while using it; there's never any fear of losing this toy inside me. Also, it is perfect for solo play because of the big handle. It makes it rather easy to hold onto and move to whatever position/motion/speed I'm in the mood for.

I use this toy in multiple situations. However, I do not like this toy for rapid motion because of the texture of the toy. Slower movement is fine, but rapid movement is not easily attainable for me as each ball is bigger than the last as you move toward the base of the toy.

This is a glass toy, so there is no give to it like jelly or silicone materials might offer. That being said, it is very smooth and well made. There are no seams and I have never experienced any discomfort because of the material.

This was my first anal toy and I have no problems with this texture or size when well lubed. Because each ball is bigger toward the bottom, it is easy to accommodate because the smallest ball at the tip of the toy is easy to insert and once I'm ready, I can gradually insert the rest of the toy until I've reached the fullness I want from the width of each ball. Also, because of the bulbous texture, after each ball is inserted, there is a thinner part before getting to the thickness of the next ball. This allows me to have a little time, and place so to speak, to relax before insert larger balls.

I enjoy the shape, as mentioned above. My least favorite part of this toy is that the "neck," the thinnest part at the very base of the toy, isn't always thin enough to keep this toy in place easily. This is an anal probe, however, and will not work well as a plug.

This toy does look like a sex toy, but not at all realistic. It is a readily usable size, even for beginners and provides a feeling of fullness because of its rigidity. The shape and texture is nice if you're looking for a textured anal toy. However, because it is textured, it isn't quite as smooth an insertion as an anal probe without a texture. This toy is well suited for travel - it is Pyrex glass that I would not worry about breaking. Also, when flying, if you have this in your carry on, it looks like an anal probe, and I would not expect it to cause any issues by looking like some other suspicious item.

The smoothness of this toy and the gradually increasing size of its bulbous shape is definitely the best part of this toy. That being said, the first few bulbs are fairly rapidly insertable, and the last couple take some work up. However, you can use the smaller balls to work yourself open so that you can accommodate the bigger balls.

Because this toy is Pyrex glass, it is very easy to take care of. After each use, wash with warm soap and water or alcohol or toy cleaner, whichever you prefer. Also, you can use whatever types of lube you prefer with this toy without damaging the toy. It stores easily in the red velvet pouch it came it.

Really, this toy couldn't be easier to manage, store or use.
