Feel Holly Jolly Any Time of the Year!

Jolly Jack combines the benefits of a butt plug and an anal probe. It stays in place and is comfy to wear, and unlike most plugs, it has a bulbed texture for extra stimulation, and enough length for shallow thrusting. The only potential problem is that the firm material makes it feel thicker than you might think. As someone who usually uses toys that are larger than Jolly Jack, that wasn't a problem for me, but it could be for others.

Use

Jolly Jack is a butt plug made by Happy Valley. It has a comfortable base and locks into place to provide anal stimulation during sex, masturbation, or while you go about your day. It is a bit longer than the average butt plug and can also be used for thrusting. I wouldn't call it large, but the firm silicone and texture make it feel a bit thicker than the measurements would lead you to believe, so this probably isn't the best choice for beginners.

Material / Texture

Jolly Jack is made from silicone. It's non-porous, phthalate free, and has no taste or smell. Happy Valley silicone is on the firmer end of the spectrum, and Jolly Jack has only a slight give. It is not quite as hard as my Ella, but definitely harder than my Tantus Ryder and much harder than my Vixen Tristan. The firm silicone makes Jolly Jack feel larger than a squishy toy of the same size would.

The silicone has a soft, smooth, matte finish which I like because it creates less drag than a shiny toy would, and doesn't pick up as much lint. There is texture, in the form of 3 bulbs, which provides extra stimulation to the anus.

Jolly Jack is available in 5 colours, and I chose Silver. It is a shimmery, metallic silver with darker swirls marbled throughout, and I find it really pretty. Compared to my other swirled silicone toys, Jolly Jack has finer swirls, and a lot more of them. It almost reminds me of frost patterns on a window.

Design / Shape / Size

Jolly Jack's design is like a mixture between a butt plug and an anal probe.

It's longer than most butt plugs at 5 1/4" long, with 4 1/2" of insertable length. Unlike many plugs, it does not have a tapered tip, and has a bulbed design which is seen on many probes since it adds stimulation during thrusting.

The bulbs increase slightly in size, measuring 4", 4 1/4", and 4 1/2" in circumference, and are each about an inch long. The neck is also about an inch long, and is 3 1/8" in circumference. The base is shaped like a rounded rectangle, and is 1 1/2" by 2 1/2".

Performance

Jolly Jack was more difficult to insert than I expected, since it's smaller than most of my anal toys. I wouldn't exactly call it a challenge, and I don't need to warm up first, but I do have to take it fairly slow, and it doesn't pop right in like I thought it would. Once I have the second and third bulbs inserted, I usually pop them in and out a few times to enjoy the texture, before fully inserting the plug down to the base. I don't think it's the best design for thrusting, and I would look elsewhere if that's how you primarily want to use it, but it does work well with short thrusts.

Once it's in place, the narrow neck locks the plug into place, so that it won't come out until you decide to take it out. The base is large and firm enough to keep the plug from slipping inside, and is small enough to fit comfortably between my cheeks. It's not completely unnoticeable, and I might not want to wear it all day long, but I'm able to comfortably walk around with the plug inserted. The base doesn't get in the way of vaginal penetration, so you can use another toy or have sex with a partner.

When I wear it during sex, it creates an increased feeling of fullness for me, seems to increase g-spot stimulation by pushing upwards. My partner also gets extra stimulation and can feel the texture of the toy rubbing against his penis through my vaginal walls.

Care and Maintenance

According to the packaging, Jolly Jack can be cleaned with soap and water, or sterilized by boiling for 10 minutes, and it should be kept away from sharp objects or silicone lubes.

I use mine with hybrid lubes and have not experienced any damage.

Silicone toys can be stored together and with other hard materials, but should be kept away from other soft toys, like jelly to prevent melting.

Packaging

Happy Valley toys come in minimal packaging, made up of a clear plastic bag with a red and yellow cardboard topper. It won't work for storage, but helps cut down on waste. It includes a bit of information, and isn't discreet since it says "sexy silicone toys."

Happy Valley toys are "made in the happiest valley in Canada."
