Flexi Sexy

The Flexi Risque is a powerful, vibrating butt plug for those who like a fair amount of buzz to their back door play. It is made up of a very flexible silicone material for comfort and safety. It has a fairly large base which can get in the way of you wish to keep this toy inserted during intercourse. However, if the size of the toy is suited to you, this anal vibrator will be a very attractive piece in your toy collection.

Use

The Flexi Risque is a silicone, vibrating butt plug made for anal stimulation. Because it is made out of silicone, with proper cleaning and hygiene, you could use this toy both vaginally and anally. The Flexi Risque could be used by women or men as an anal vibrator, whatever suits your fancy. You could also use the Flexi Risque in a solo session or together with your partner. As long as the big base of the toy doesn't get in the way, and we will get to that base a bit later, you could use the Flexi Risque for double penetration. The Flexi Risque is also waterproof for use in tub/shower/pool or fun on dry land.

Material / Texture

The instertable portion of the Flexi Risque is made up of silicone which rates a 10 on the Eden Fantasys' safety scale. Silicone is a food-grade material, and it is hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous and phthalates free. Silicone can be shared between partners as it can be fully disinfected after use. Some of the other features of silicone are that it can retain heat so it is possible to soak the toy in some warm water before use for a bit of temperature play, and according to the sex toy material page here on Eden Fantasys, silicone repels dirt and bacteria. With that said, silicone is a lint magnet! In my case, pet hair sticks to the toy like none other. I find that is it necessary to rinse this toy before use just to get any airborne debris off of it. The silicone is velvety smooth to the touch with the typical slight silicone drag to it. It is pretty firm but does have a bit of give to it. The insertable portion of this toy is very flexible, hence the name Flexi Risque. This is a nice property because it will really bend and move with you. It does have a bit of an odor to it, but it's only noticeable if you stick it up to your nose and sniff it. I cannot comment on whether or not it had a taste to it because I did not lick it. Since it is silicone, use water-based lubes only as a silicone-based lube could ruin the toy. Being that this is a toy made for anal play, having silicone as the material is fantastic as you can disinfect silicone and not have to worry about any bacteria contaminating your toy for future use.

The base of this toy is made from what feels like PU coated ABS plastic, although the product page and the packaging do not mention what the base material of the toy is made. The base and insertable portions of the toy are definitely different materials, but they are the same color, so the only way you can tell is by touch.

Design / Shape / Size

Flexi Risque
The Flexi Risque is a graduated, bulged anal vibrator that sits on a large circular base. I love the look of this toy - it's like looking at a sculpture. The whole thing is about 5.5 inches long, with 4.5 inches of that being insertable. The insertable part has three bulges on it. The first two are on the smaller side with the third one being a more dramatic difference. The tip is tapered into a point to make insertion easier. The measurements of the first two bulges are 3 inches in circumference for the first, 3.25 inches in circumference for the second (so not that big of a difference), and the third bulge is 5 inches in circumference with a diameter of one inch. You get a pretty big leap from the second to the third bulge. After the third bulge, the toy narrows back down to a 3 inch circumference before it flares out to the base. I would not say that this toy is a beginner friendly toy as it is kind of on the large side to me, but I am still a novice at anal play myself.
Flexi Risque length

Where the silicone, insertable portion of the toy meets up with the plastic base is my first complaint. There is a deep crack/divot that lube and liquids settle down into. Being that this is for anal use, I tend to go heavy with the lubricants, so it ends up have a little lube moat at the base of the toy, and it takes some extra effort in the cleaning department.
Flexi Risque Base

Now my second complaint with the base of the toy is the size of it. It is very large. There are no worries here that this thing is going to slip up into your rectum and get lost, causing you to have to make a very embarrassing trip to the ER. The base is 9.5 inches in circumference and about 3.25 inches in diameter, and from my measurements, it sits about 1.25 inches high. There are some definite pluses to this. It makes a great handle to hold onto for insertion and removal, but if you are wanting to use this toy for double penetration during intercourse, the base can get in the way and be distracting, depending on your anatomy and positioning. I also find the base of this toy too large to comfortably wear it for extended periods of time. If you are looking for an anal vibrator you can walk around in, this may not be your best bet.

The bottom of the base screws off to hold the three AAA batteries that power the toy. Also on the bottom of the base, you will find the power button.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is easy to disinfect as it is a non-porous material. You can wash the Flexi Risque with warm water and antibacterial soap, use your favorite toy cleaner, or wipe down with a 10% bleach solution. Silicone can be boiled to disinfect it, but this toy contains a motor which boiling or running through the dishwasher can damage, so that is not recommended with this particular toy. The crack/divot where the insertable shaft meets the base does provide a bit of a hassle when cleaning. You have to make sure you get all the lube or whatever else collects in there during use cleaned out before storage or another use. Since it is silicone, you should use only water-based lubes with the Flexi Risque as silicone-based lubes could bind with the toy and forever ruin its silky smooth texture. You should not store this toy touching any other toy made from a soft material so that they do not melt together. The packaging does say that this toy is pure silicone, and there are people out there who feel comfortable enough to store pure silicone toys with other pure silicone toys and risk them melting together, but I am not one of them. I separate all my silicone and soft toys from each other as to not ruin any of them in storage.

Packaging

The Flexi Risque came in a plastic clam shell case that was very easy to open. The clam shell molds around the toy, letting it be the shinning star. The packaging can be reused for storage if you wish. It is very easy to open and close. There was a small piece of paper in the package with the toy illustrating how to take the base off and insert the batteries. I would not call this packaging discreet as the toy is on full display from both the front and the back, but if you are concerned about that, it did arrive in a plain, cardboard box with no markings as to what might be contained inside. All of my Eden Fantasys' orders have come very discreetly packaged for shipping.

Experience

We are a couple who are fairly new to anal play, but when I let my partner know that the Flexi Risque was coming in the mail, he got very excited. He really likes the added stimulation of being able to feel the vibrator buzzing away during double penetration vaginal intercourse, and I must say I am a big fan too. This particular vibrator does have some drawbacks - the large base can be very difficult to work around, the shaft of the toy is very flexible so it can be held out of the way, but it takes away from the experience for me, and the last bulb can start to come out. Also this toy is large. I wish that there was a smaller option available as it would have suit me a bit better. I do really like the strong vibrations that this toy provides, and I am a fan of the silicone. I can use this for anal and then clean it up and be able to safely use it as a vaginal vibrator as well. I like toys that can be multipurpose.
