Moon plug - sex toy by XHale Glass - review by TacoODoom

In this corner weighing in at just under half a pound and with a 6 inch circumference at its widest point, hand crafted from gloriously smooth glass festooned with 24k gold we have the Xhale glass Moon Plug. In the left corner wearing no trunks and heavily lubed, we have the reigning champion....my ass.

Okay, so I lost the first round, but I won in the end(hehehe bad pun). Seriously though, this thing is huge, I'm pretty well versed in the ways of sticking things up my rear and this was a challenge for me...but oh what a fun challenge.

It's made of pyrex glass with 24K gold decorations on the inside of the glass itself which gives it a vaguely pink hue. Tip to base it's 4.5 inches with 4 inches insertable, of that 1.5 inch is the stem. Now bear in mind that as each one of these plugs is hand made, each of the measurements may vary slightly. Because it's glass it has to be treated with some care. It's pretty resilient but if you drop it onto a hard surface it can chip or crack. If it chips, cracks, etc. Do not use the toy. It comes in a great thick padded bag and I recommend storing it in that.

It's easy to clean; soap and water, 10% bleach solution, toy wipes, dishwasher, or autoclave, whatever you feel like doing is perfectly fine. The glass cleans super quick, is non porous, hypoallergenic and can be sanitized.

There is some concern with Xhale's plugs because the bases are roughly the same size if not slightly smaller than the widest part of their plugs. Because the stems are so thin, 0.5 inch diameter, and there is no flare from stem to base, I don't see this as being an issue. Naturally anything is possible, your ass could eat it, but I've had no trouble and not even a hint it might get sucked up inside. Should you not use this toy out of worry? Hell no, it's a great plug, just be cautious. It can be used for temperature play but PLEASE don't expose your toy to extreme changes in temperature, i.e. from hot to cold as it will shock the toy and possibly cause the glass to crack.

When using this toy use good lube. Not the cheap stuff that gets sticky, use the good stuff like Liquid Silk or ID Silicone, trust me you want a lube with staying power. I think that's why I lost the first round, lube dried up a bit, and the husband was on the um...pitching end. Round two I had control of the plug and we used the good lube and it was AWESOME; literally it was a breathtaking, hot, twitching, moaning, awesome. I can't articulate it better than that.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this to beginners, sorry folks you gots to earn the moon(plug). It's rigid, hell it's glass it has NO GIVE AT ALL! If you're just getting into butt play try your fingers or someone else's (with permission of course) and ease into things with something small and silicone. Be safe and have fun!
