This toy was definitely designed
I’m not really sure how to write a review of The Finger-Flex Vibrator by Pipedream. I’m struggling because for the three weeks that I’ve had it, I’ve tried a variety of things with it and I just couldn’t get it to work for me. The toy itself is neither especially attractive nor unattractive. It looks like a probe. It doesn’t have an odor and it is seamless.
Since the material is made of plastic, it is reasonably safe for anal play; it really is not the best toy for anal use. It was slightly difficult to insert even with a lot of lubrication, and I’ve experimented with anal play before (I have a glass ripple wand for anal play). The end is not round or tapered, but flat with nubs on the end. I tried a little bit of thrusting with it, but that was uncomfortable as well because of the shape of the probe. The probe isn’t rounded beyond not having sharp corners. It just has rounded edges that are more cylinder-like instead of elliptical or spherical. So I left it inside my rectum to vibrate while I used a dildo vaginally. The vibrations were solid, though not overbearing. I could feel the vibrations on the dildo. The probe did not offer a particularly full feeling though I could definitely feel the probe inside of me. Usually anal play aids in my orgasms and makes them come stronger and faster, but the Finger-Flex did not do that for me. When I had enough, I set aside my dildo and slowly began to pull the Finger-Flex out. It was significantly more painful than I had expected because of the edges–from the probe to the bendy wand part–and then the slight decrease in circumference. When I finally got it out, my anus was much happier.
I wanted to clean the Finger-Flex immediately after use, so I washed it with soap and water and then sprayed it with an antibacterial toy cleaner. The top of it was especially difficult to clean because of the nubs and what appears to be the plate that the nubs sit on. I really had to work hard to make sure it was completely clean.
The positive aspects of the Finger-Flex include that it runs on two AA batteries that are easy to insert and remove. The control for the vibrator is simple as well. It is a wheel that is turned and the intensity of the vibrations can be adjusted for the individual. It does not have any pulsation modes, but that is to be expected with the particular motor and the type of control it has.
Before I used the Finger-Flex anally, I used it on my body as a massager, including over my vulva, and vaginally. While it did not do much for me vaginally, even when I bent it to try for some G-spot stimulation, it was good for clitoral stimulation. The adjustable level of vibration is good for a warm up session for another toy. It also works reasonably well as a neck and shoulder massager.
After three weeks of trying with this toy, it is getting tossed to the back of the drawer, and probably won’t make an appearance for a long time, maybe never.
Seriously, what is the point of those nubs on the tip? This looks more useful as a clit vibrator than anything else.
Maybe they're for a perineum massage? Clitorally, the nubs don't do much, but work well over the labia. For anal play, the nubs really just make it that much harder to clean.
