The Plug of Lust is made with the best quality and created of Silicone. Its surface is smooth and non-porous. The Silicone repels dirt/bacteria and is highly durable. The Plug of Lust is guaranteed to last through extended friction. The entire surface of the plug is smooth and seamless. The soft flesh of the plug of lust if ideal for beginners. It offers non-intimidating entry and glides in with ease.

The Plug of Lust came free of odors and taste. However, after using the plug I noticed that it does tend to retain smell. I recommend washing it immediately after each use. It can also be dipped in a 10% bleach solution that cures the problem right away.

It features a pronounced bulge that inserts comfortably and adds more stimulation during use. The bulge extends down to the smallest area at the base and is fixed with a retrieval ring for easily removal of the plug. Performance

The plug of lust is basically flawless. Other than its small issue with retaining smell. It is a well-rounded butt plug that is great for beginners. I really enjoyed using the Plug of Lust because it was so inviting. I usually apply a small amount of lubricant to it and then insert it. Insertion is very easy and the firmness of the tip makes penetrating a snap. The surface becomes very slick with just a small amount of lube. I can place the plug inside and it stays in place. I have been able to wear it around for around two hours at a time. The Plug of lust can be worn to work the sphincter muscles. It allows the rectum to become relaxed and pleasure can then become more active. This plug can also be worked in and out at the user's own speed. It offers the sensation of anal penetration and beginners wont be intimidated by it. I have used the Plug of lust a number of ways and enjoy every angle of it.

Care and Maintenance

Because the Plug of Lust is made of Silicone there are a couple of ways it can be cleaned. First off, always clean it before and after every single use. It can be cleaned with warm water and anti-bacterial soap or a toy cleaner. It can be dipped in 10% bleach solution after a full cleaning to help sanitize it. The plug can also be boiled or place in the top rack of a dishwasher to clean it. It is compatible with water based lubricants. The plug can be stored basically anywhere. It is small in size and can be placed in a pouch, drawer, toy chest, etc. I do recommend putting it in a plastic bag or similar package to prevent it from collecting dust, dirt, hair, etc.

Packaging

There is really nothing to see here. The Plug of Lust does come in a cheap plastic package. The package has a picture of an erotic woman and little product information. My packaging hit the trash can as soon as I removed the plug. On the plus side, it is recyclable.

Good review, LadyA. I loved my Plug Der Lust Beginner, but alas, I have outgrown it. On to slightly larger toys. I may buy the Plug of Lust large, (it isn't really that large, just larger than the Beginner) as I really loved the feel, texture and shape of this cute little guy.

    • I am completely new to anal play. Well, at least I am almost completely new: I have been attempting to get started for a couple of weeks now since my husband has expressed interest in trying anal sex.

      Sadly, however, I have had a difficult time using what many reviewers have deemed as the perfect beginner's butt plug. It seems as though I need something even smaller than the following, all of which I have tried and find either very difficult to insert and/or too uncomfortable to wear for even a short period of time (and, yes, I do use a thick anal lube and try to insert gently and slowly):

      Tantus Little Flirt (seems too long for my comfort)

      Tantus Ripple (the last bead is too thick in diameter and it also is too long for me to fully insert comfortably)

      FunFactory Bootie (the bulged head makes it very painful to insert, even going slowly and gently, and I find it too filling to wear comfortably for long, once it is in)

      I am very sad that I am not "progressing" in anal play. Are there any smaller butt plugs out there to help me ease into using -- and hopefully even enjoying -- my *beginner* plugs so that I can eventually work up to trying anal sex?

      Ironically, my husband has also just started to experiment with anal play to massage his prostate and he has even been able to use our Nexus G-rider with no problem. I don't understand why I am still stuck at the *pre-beginner* stage!

      Oh, I forgot to ask if the small Plug of Lust should be easier to use than the Tantus Little Flirt, Tantus Small Ripple, and FunFactory Bootie! Any other suggestions would be most appreciated, too.
    • At that price, the Plug of Lust is tough to beat. If price is not an object, then I might go for the Fun Factory Bootie instead because I think the base is better for long term wear. Another consideration if price were no object would be the Bob pleasure object.
