Bloomy is one of my first anal toys, and initially I was mildly dissatisfied with it, but over time we've grown quite close. One of the great qualities is the high grade silicone that leaves little to be desired in regards to the material. It's non-porous, is easily cleaned and can be completely sterilized; a fact that is a major plus in my book. Though it cannot be used with silicone based lubricant, as it will destroy the toy. Your best bet is water based lube, and Fun Factory graciously provides a small sample inside the packaging.

Bloomy is categorized as a prostate massager, and will accomplish just that if you let it, but I've found a thrusting action to be more my style. Unfortunately, Bloomy wasn't designed for that sort of play, and is poorly suited for thrusting due to a flexible connection between the insertable part and the handle. This can also make initial insertion and any further maneuvering a bit difficult, so the toy will require a little extra guidance in anal play.

Besides the flexible core, the toy is very well designed and feels pretty good. I'm something of a beginner in the anal toy arena, but I found the size of Bloomy to be just about right. It provides a little stretch, but nothing unmanageable. Once inserted, I enjoyed the way the leaf-like part hugged my body and left a sense of presence in that whole area. Sitting down with it in puts pressure on the perineum, and moving about will provide pleasurable anal and prostate stimulation. Bloomy can also be inserted so that the bloom faces the tailbone, and is also pleasurable this way, though the focus is on the anus rather than the prostate.

All in all, I really enjoy Bloomy's unique shape and the sensations that come with it. It's just unfortunate that the design results in a toy that is more difficult to maneuver.
