Gives new meaning to the term "sit and spin!"
This toy, while being rather big for people new to prostate massage, hits all the right spots in terms of texture, material, and pleasure.Published: February 18, 2012
Pros:
Solid, smooth, velvety, and zero smell! Great for experienced users.
Cons:
Kind of big to start with, sitting on the base may not feel comfortable to some.
I'm a big fan of prostate massagers. Used right and with practice, they can give some of the best orgasms a man has ever known! (It's even good for you, too). As it turns out, every company is trying something new to get you off - vibrating, bouncing, thrusting, everything just poking at your prostate. This is one of the more unique ones I've come across.
Out of the box, the first thing you'll notice is this thing has got some nice weight behind it, which is good! It feels really solid, compared to many of the other prostate massagers which have the problem of being made of plastic. That's always kind of scared me - plastic has been known to break! Thankfully, this one is made of some really, really nice silicone. Nexus formed it in a way that there are no seams, no breaks, and running your fingers over it feels amazing. It's smooth, almost velvety. Another plus: no smell! I cannot tell you how many times a sex toy can turn someone off just because of its pungent, plastic/rubber smell.
Now, down to brass tacks: if you're new to prostate massage, try something smaller. A diameter of 1 and 5/8ths makes this kind of a big boy to take. Thanks to its smooth texture and the right lube, you can sliiiide it right up in there easily if you're experienced in anal play already. If you're NOT, you may want to try a smaller toy, the Aneros, possibly - simply because the crook at the top is quite something. The Gyro is meant to push a little harder on the prostate than most massagers, which is why I'd list this as an "advanced" toy.
But does it work? Absolutely. Most men are built the same way, and their prostate in the same place (it can be hard to find sometimes!) and this one is wide and large enough to grind just nicely against your p-spot. The base of the toy makes a great handle for starting out and once it's in, the thinner neck helps it stay in. Along with being a nice and solid grip, you can sit down against the base and rock against it, or bounce, if that's your thing.
Me? I'm happy with just sitting and working my muscles. This is one workout I don't mind too much!
