Long have I longed for a better butt plug, and lo and behold, here it is.

The violet moon plug comes in a plush padded drawstring pouch, an important and sometimes overlooked touch. Glass toys, for the record, must be protected lest they chip. When I first fished it out of the bag, I held it up and wondered “that’s it?” It’s small; a “two finger” butt toy – not necessarily small enough to warm up the tightest of asses, but definitely small enough to be played with by anyone. A one size fits all butt plug; quite the feat for a simple glass toy.

Even though it looks small, it’s got quite a bit of presence. The glass is a lovely blush of violet – clear and captivating and reminiscent of a precious gem. It is shaped like a spade from a deck of cards – a 3d version, of course. The thickest part of the bulb is three times as wide as the stem, and the taper between the bulb and the stem is quite severe. So what, you ask? This design ensures that the plug won’t pop out on its own due to relaxation, or when muscles clench during orgasm, despite its significant weight.

I used the plug right away; just rinsed it, smeared it with some of my favorite oil based lube (my gold standard lube for anal play), and slid it into myself. It took a little bit of wiggling to get in; the plug gets wider than a finger tip very quickly. If you need a bit more warm-up to get to two fingers, this plug will requite a bit of foreplay before use. The glass crept into me effortlessly; any friction between the plug and my inner bits was completely eradicated by the lube.

Eventually, the plug settled into place – bulbous head enveloped within me, asshole clenched around the stem, and the small, tidy little violet base peaking out between my bum cheeks.
