Gold laced G - dildo by SSA Glass - review by JessCee

The Gold laced G can be used anally or vaginally. Though it is quite small for vaginal play, the lattices make up for the lack of girth and provide great texture to be enjoyed vaginally. This beautiful piece is also fantastic for temperature play.

This toy is made of Pyrex glass. This means it's going to be very resistant to breaking or shattering. I have actually done a little testing (by accident). I dropped the Gold Laced G from about 2 1/2 - 3 feet onto my kitchen tiled floor, it did not break at all (thank goodness!)
Because it is made of Pyrex glass, the possibilities are endless. It can be placed in the freezer or under hot water for a few minutes for some temperature play. I have found that the Gold Laced G is capable of holding heat (30 seconds under hot water) for about 9-10 minutes and cold ( 1 minute in the freezer) for 10 minutes.

Now, I do have to mention that you should be careful playing with this should you decide to put it in the freezer. This was my first glass toy ever, I wanted some cold temperature play, so I put it in the freezer for a good 10 minutes or so, took it out and started playing right away.... NOT A GOOD IDEA!!! It froze to my labia, yes... it got stuck to my labia and I had to run some warm water over the area until it came off! So maybe just some ice cold water would be a better idea... yes, I do think so.

You can clean Pyrex glass with with soap and water or a sex toy cleaner. It can also be boiled to sterilize. Pyrex glass is compatible with any silicone, water, or oil based lubricant.

I think the pictures can speak for themselves. This is a beautiful, elegant looking toy.



The lattice design is gorgeous. It is oh-so-smooth, and it's raised 1/8" off the toy. Nothing too intense, but it feels wonderful!! I'm still pretty new to anal play, and while inserting it anally, I felt a little "pop, pop, pop" throughout the shaft due to the lattices. I found this to be very enjoyable and still, it was nothing too intense.

You can also see that the Gold Laced G has a slight curve to facilitate G or P spot stimulation. I'd like to add that I think this aspect of the toy would work better with G spots that are a little deeper.

The entire toy measures 6 3/4" and 6" of that is insertable. It has a diameter of only 1" and circumference of 3 1/2". As I said before, this is much smaller than I thought, but it turned out to be perfect for anal play. I would like to compare the girth of the toy to one of those giant gag gift pencils. I would most definitely recommend the Gold Laced G for those new to glass toys in general or anal play because of its small girth.

I couldn't be more happy with my first glass toy! It's everything I had hoped it would be and more. The Pyrex glass is amazing, and beautiful lattices add a great sensation. The curve is just perfect for stimulating my G spot, and the girth is perfect for anal play for a newbie like myself. I honestly have not one bad thing to say about this toy's performance.

My toy came in a very minimal velvet pouch with no padding or lining on the inside. Because I love this toy so much, I'm going to invest in one of the pouches Eden offers. Eden toy pouch or Toy pouch.

Thanks to a suggestion made by Dwtim I decided to try some medical type play.



I was able (with the use of a flashlight and a mirror) to see my own insides... how cool is that?! It was way hot, and it just added to the list of awesome things I enjoy about this toy.
