When I was first starting out on the adventure of anal play, I knew I wanted a set of anal beads. The thought of each of those beads going in one at a time and then slowly popping out as I came was just too exciting. I had to get some. So I decided on the Onyx Love Beads from California Exotics. They were cheap and not very big. It seemed like the perfect set to start out with. I ordered the smallest set, since I was just starting out. When they arrived, I pulled them out and examined them. It’s a pretty simple toy with a series of five beads strung on a cord with a knot on either side of each one to keep it in place and a plastic loop on one end to pull them back out with. The ends of the cord are melted together to prevent fraying.

After my thorough examination of the Love Beads, I decided it was time to take them out for a spin. After warming myself up thoroughly with lots of lube, I got the beads all slippery and began pushing each one into place. I loved the feeling of each bead as it passed my anal sphincter, bringing pleasure with each one. However with each burst of pleasure, there was a little bit of pain. As I pushed them inside, the beads would compress against the knots that keep them in place and pinch my skin between them. Not really the sensation you want, but when I discovered this problem, I quickly solved it by adding a lot more lube and making sure the knots were as close to the beads as possible as they went in.

Once I had all the beads in place, I continued on with my vibrator and dildo until just before the big O. When I was there, I found the plastic ring and pulled the beads out one at a time as the pleasure pulsed through me. Each ball slipping out of my body increased the sensation surging through my body. I didn’t notice the knots coming out as I did when they were going in. It was nothing but pure pleasure. I loved it.

For the price, this was a decent toy. It does have a couple of slight flaws, but what can you expect for $4. If you just want a toy for rare anal play, this is a perfect one for you. If you are looking for something more substantial for more frequent play, I would go for something made all of one solid material, that way you don’t have the knots to deal with. That would also make clean-up easier. With this toy, you have to make sure to get in between each knot and bead, which can be a pain.
