Good Time For All!

After a few uses of the Icicle, I would definitely recommended picking one up. It surely is nothing revolutionary, but as a starter toy, or just something to spice up the bedroom. It is a great addition to the arsenal. As an anal stimulus during vaginal sex, or vaginal toy during anal, it is sure to kick things up a notch.

Use

This toy is great. It is pretty simple to use. No switches, batteries, or anything to break; just very nice quality glass piece shaped like nothing in particular. A glass bulb on one end, and a rounded end on the other with smooth spiral ridges all along the shaft. The two ends offer two entirely different approaches, yet my wife preferred the end without the bulb. There are basically limitless uses for this. Since it is made of glass, it is totally capable of sterilization and can be used anally and vaginally, or shared with a partner. On the first use, we used it in conjunction with an external tickler/vibrator for a fun experience. As of now she hasn't used it by herself, but we use it as a extra addition to regular bedroom activities. You could use it as a vaginal or anal toy in addition to the opposite anal or vaginal sex, and achieve some quite dramatic sensations.

Material / Texture

It is made from hand-blown glass and it really shows, from the second you take it out of the package. There are no uncomfortable seams, bumps, or ridges. It really is exactly how it looks in the picture, a smooth, yet spiraled, glass dildo. Glass seems a bit scary at first, but the weight of it really reassured me how strong it really is. I had no concern that I would break or damage it in anyway once we started using it. The texture is very smooth and caused absolutely no irritation and we didn't use any extra lubrication on the first trial.

Design / Shape / Size

The design is very interesting, and incorporate a traditional bullet shaped dildo with a bulb shaped opposite end. The bulb end offers an entirely different and slightly larger penetration. The bulb end is great for anal play, as it requires a little more work for penetration and creates an amazing sensation upon insertion. The wife really likes it. It also touches an entirely different spot upon vaginal insertion than the smooth end. The size is perfect; not too big, not to small, and with the two different ends, it offers two different sizes, depending on what you are interested in.

In terms of travelling, this toy could be well suited. No batteries required. However, I would recommend that you pad it well because no one wants broken glass in their suitcase!

Performance

We had no problems with the overall performance of the toy. We had no issues with cleaning, or using and integrate it regularly.

Care and Maintenance

This toy could not be easier to take care of. It is glass, so if you don't have any house guests, you can just throw it in the dishwasher. If you need to be more discreet, you can bleach it, or just wash with warm soap and water. Glass is totally non-porous and among the safest compounds for toys, so clean up is a total breeze.

Follow-up commentary
Still a great toy, now incorporating it more as an anal toy during vaginal sex, including during oral-vaginal sex. It is great for this purpose and provides just the right amount of stimulation without being over-the-top. You will need plenty of lubrication, but the two ends provide a totally different experience for anal penetration.

The spiral texture is prominent, you can definitely feel it quite well, but it is very smooth and rounded with no sharp edges at all.

  • What Is Your Favorite Material for Dildos?
    • What is eberyones favorite material? Mine is stainless steel. It warms with your body and is hypoallergenic. What is yours?
    • I always fear that glass will break, and the synthetic skins just remind me that Im not getting the real thing
    • Glass and silicone. Glass is completely safe, as long as you take care of it and don't drop it on a surface that will break or chip it then you have nothing to worry about! The ones sold here aren't made of the crappy quality some kitchen drink glasses are made of so you aren't going to crush them when gripping them and using them.
