This specially designed prostate exerciser is meant to be inserted and moved via muscular contraction. It is not meant to be thrust or moved with hands. It is also not meant to be sat or rocked on. It is made from hard plastic which is very easy to clean either with soap and water or in the dishwasher. It is a single piece of cast and milled plastic so you won't find any sharp edges anywhere on the toy. There are also no moving parts. The hard plastic is entirely rigid and therefore provides correct stimulation if used correctly. Since it's hard plastic there is no smell at all. It should be used with water-based lubrication. This requires plenty of lubrication, since it will be moving inside you. It's size may not be the best choice for beginners. It may require a long time to achieve the results that Aneros is known for.

When I first tried the Progasm, I was no stranger to anal toys or prostate massagers. This however, is neither. It is essentially an exerciser. It does not provide stimulation without contraction of muscles. It's not hard to learn how to use properly. In my experience, though it provided good stimulation of the prostate, it did nothing more than stimulate.

I believe the experience that most have will differ and if you're willing to put in the effort required to learn and acclimate to this exerciser, it's worth the money. I have used it 4 times now at about 35 minutes each time. During use, I found the head provided good stimulation of the prostate. The base is small enough to be comfortable for long sessions. The perineum point provided stimulation to the right point. The rear point, I found to be slightly uncomfortable after long use especially if you need to sit with it for any length of time. It pressed against the tip of my tailbone and was not pleasant after a while. I have still not been able to achieve a hands-free orgasm, though in conjunction with penile stimulation the Progasm definitely increased the strength of my regular orgasm.

This is a good choice for those who have the time to spend learning it. It's not for those who need a quick orgasm.
