It has a flared base and does work best if you "sit" on the toy without attempting to move. It does massage the p-spot and is quite pleasurable from this angle. You could also use the toy for thrusting without much problem. The only use this toy really doesn't have is actually holding itself in without falling out while moving.

To be honest, this has held up great. At the time of the original review, we'd had it a couple months, and now we've had it even longer. The butt plug still works amazingly, and truth be told, we almost always come back to it since my boyfriend isn't quite ready to take the larger ones.
It still doesn't work well as a butt plug. It's more of an anal toy for thrusting or playing. It does work great for something to get us started with play and the wide base makes it possible (and comfortable) for sitting on it for use.
It definitely is, and probably always will be, that one "starter" toy that we reach for as a warm-up for anything larger.

Honestly, I am a little nervous about the world of anal play. If I decided to go there maybe this is a good intro.
This is an amazing intro. It's near-impossible to harm yourself because of lack of lube, and it's near impossible to screw up with using it. It's small enough that it really doesn't hurt, but you'll know its there. Once you get more advanced, I'd recommend trying a larger one.
I didn't know plugs came that thin! Probably would have been useful a few years ago... Very good review!
