While the toy is sold as a dildo, I find that its best use is as a butt plug. The anatomical shape of the toy makes it stay in without expulsion and therefore makes it an ideal butt plug. Given its shape, length, and bend, it fits snugly against the prostate. Just a little bit of moving around with it in strongly stimulates the prostate. I find that the shape makes it a little more difficult for use as a dildo (at least for anal use) but it does make for a different feel than a standard dildo if you like to try out different things. I consider this toy a hybrid butt plug / dildo. If you really enjoy p-spot stimulation this toy is really great because you get a lot of stimulation without much effort.

The Luna dildo is made out of 100% silicone, which means that it's non-porous and among the safest materials to use. There is no smell to the toy. It's not a hard silicone toy and its soft quality makes it really nice going in. There is a seam down the middle of the toy which some have found somewhat problematic; however, I find that this problem is alleviated by using a condom with the toy. This not only makes for easy cleanup, but also helps get rid of some of the troubles if you find the seam uncomfortable. I have not had any problems with it in all my use of the toy. Given the pleasure of the toy, it's more than worth taking a little time to make it comfortable for use.

The design of the toy is really its best feature. It mimics the internal anatomy, so not only does it fit nicely but it also doesn't expel easily when moving around or during orgasm like some other plugs and dildos would do.
