Don Juan - anal probe by Pleasure Works - review by delcubed

This is a small curved probe with three bulges and a decent-sized flared base. It is a soft silicone material and is easily cleaned with soap and water or a good toy cleaner. For such a small curvature on the toy, it is surprising how well it sits inside of my body and walks that fine line between too small and a perfect fit. For me, the bulges are not a selling point, as I use it more as a plug rather than a dildo to be moved in and out. Once it’s in, I leave it in and go about my day. For comfortable long-term wear, I prefer it to curve towards my spine, since that is the natural curve of the rectum; I am not directing it towards the P-spot. I am obviously not using it for sexual gratification, but more-so for relaxation and a little stretch for my anus.

The Don Juan probe is 4.5 inches long with 3.5 inches of insertable length. It comes in a small box and is very easy to store as it is a small toy. I keep it in the bathroom in a wall cabinet as it is the bathroom where I usually put it in and take it out to clean. It is o-ring compatible, but with only 3.5 inches that can be inserted, I’m not sure what the point would be. This probe is very lightweight and, in my opinion, is great for long-term wear. Being so lightweight, I actually forgot that it is in place from time to time. It is very comfortable lying down, sitting, and walking around. For the most part, I have yet to find an activity that makes it uncomfortable, but I have yet to try it while doing jumping jacks, so the true verdict is still out I guess.

When I first saw the Don Juan probe I was skeptical of what, if any, benefit or pleasure this probe would give. I first tried it in the shower (where I try out most of my toys), although I didn’t find it filling or overly stimulating in the places that it reached. I did, however, find it to be very comfortable as a wearable probe/plug. The longest I have worn it so far has been a total of 16 hours; in fact it is so soft and comfortable that I slept the entire night with it in, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it stayed in place all night. It may not give a stretched of full feeling, but it is great for general wear and will help the anus relax and be ready for play with larger toys when the time arrives. I forgot that it was even there on that particular night after several hours until I sneezed and one of the balls/bulges popped out... This is the first toy that I have owned that has had that quality to it.

I may have been reluctant about the toy due to its size when I first saw it, but I became pleasantly surprised to find out how much I actually enjoyed it. This may be a bit small for some, but it is great if you are looking for a wearable probe or a toy to start your night before you move on to a larger toy for more intense play. I have only used water-based lubed with the probe as it is a silicone toy, and a silicone lube would damage it. I haven’t tried it with any other toys as of yet, but if I do I will be sure to update my review.

All in all, I would suggest adding the Don Juan probe to your collection, as it has become a very enjoyable addition to mine.

I have found the Don Juan probe to be great for long term wear, whether it be around the house or out and about. It stays in place nicely, and after a little while I forget it is there, but because it is there and so relaxing, it makes taking a larger toy (or partner) a breeze.
