Ever since my beau moved in with me, it’s been harder to find “alone” time. It’s not really a problem, since I’ve got him here to take care of all my “alone” time needs… But there are certain activities I like (and products I like to employ) that just don’t do it for him.
In this case, that activity is… well, anything anal. He’s just not into it. Which is fine with me – I don’t need it to get off and I only really like it every once in a while. But when I do want it, I can’t just pull out a
butt plug in the middle of sex. I had to send him on an extensive errand just to get time to myself to test the
Encore!
Encore is a silicone graduated-ripple butt plug from Happy Valley. I’m pretty picky when it comes to butt toys; nothing’s going in that can’t be sterilized when it comes out, so silicone is usually the best option. Encore’s flared base (a necessity on any anal toy) is long and narrow instead of round, meaning it fits against your body. That made it more comfortable, and it also meant that the toy stayed in place. If you’ve ever used a butt plug before, you know that’s one of the big challenges. The toy went in easily when lubed, and although I would have like more girth (Encore is graduated from 1” to 1 ¼” in diameter), the length (5 1/5”) was nearly perfect.
At the end of the evening I was happy to have gotten some alone time with Encore, although ironically it didn’t leave me shouting for more. It’s a quality product that does what it’s supposed to do, and probably a great choice for an intermediate anal player.
