Gold laced G - dildo by SSA Glass - review by mintaburst

"How Pretty!" were the first words out of my mouth. When I took this beauty out of its bag I was impressed. I really did want to display it on a shelf despite protests from my other half. The details in the glass look like a piece of art. This was my first glass toy so I wasn't sure what to expect. This particular piece is very impressive to say the least.

My first trip out of the gate was with it at room temperature a.k.a. COLD! I was not such a fan of this at first. The slight curve seemed just right for my G-spot. I was, however, expecting a little more girth with the gold decorative lattice glass. The ribbed sides are very nice and provide a great sensation once inserted. The texture is very unique compared to similar glass dildos. Overall I found myself wishing it were slightly larger for vaginal insertion.

I've learned that I prefer to run warm water over the Gold Laced G or hold it in my hand for a few moments before inserting. It's less of a shock for me this way. I never was too big into temperature play, at least the cold temperatures. I do love that this is made out of Pryex glass and is totally body safe. This makes clean up a breeze with just a quick soap and water wash.

It does come with a very nice velvety bag for storage, although not very padded. Overall I did not find the ridges to be too overwhelming. It does have a good weight to it. Applying a small amount of lubrication was more than enough for this particular piece. I really like its slight curve and feel; it is just right for my G-spot. My only wish is that the diameter was just slightly larger and the head more pronounced.
