iFlex by Doc Johnson

Doc Johnson's iFlex vibrator is a probe that looks as if it belongs in some futuristic movie like WALL-E. I waited patiently for it to open some electronic eye and flutter digitized eyelashes at me. It didn't, but such would suit its aesthetic! Don't let its future-inspired design intimidate you, however. The iFlex is easy to use right out of the box (after you clean it, of course, and pop in 3 AA batteries!) with intuitive, customizable controls.

The iFlex is made of a hard plastic. The best cleaners are soap and hot water or you can wipe it down with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Please note that you may use water-based, oil-based or silicone lube with the iFlex. (Play safe, though! If you plan to use the toy in proximity to a condom, stay away from oil-based lube, which will eat away at and dissolve the condom.)

In terms of the toy's ergonomics, Doc Johnson hit a home run. This is the most comfortable vibe I've ever had the pleasure of playing with! And I adore it for that reason! (Come on, we all know about the wrist cramps that ensue over the course of a long play session and how quickly awkward angles can extinguish the passion flames. It's true with our lovers, and it's true with our toys.) With iFlex, you finally have a toy that will work with you, and not against you. Bend it at a ninety-degree angle and set it right against your G-spot, ladies, without having to worry about reachability! Or straighten it out and hand it to a partner so that they can pleasure you without worrying that they're going to drop the vibe. Twist it any which way you like. Let the iFlex mirror your undulations and hip circles.

One of the greatest things about the iFlex is the tapering from the vibrating head of the toy to the skinny flexible neck and the flaring-out at the base. This ensures that the handle stays dry and free from juices and lube, no matter how long (and how hard) your play. (And we all know how frustrating it is when a vibe becomes slippery and won't stay in your hand right as you're about to come!) Depending on your personal preference for strength of vibration, you might want to use the iFlex in tandem with another toy (like a great clit stimulator), or incorporate it into partner play. I would be the happiest woman if the iFlex packed the punch of the Magic Wand. Alas, its vroom does not impress to that extent. I'm sure some delicate flowers will appreciate the softer vibrations. Just don't get stranded on a desert island with only the iFlex; it's a toy that enjoys company.

I give the iFlex 4 stars for its usability and combination of features. Doc Johnson fulfills their promises with the iFlex. This is one toy that will always be at the top of my toy box! Like with any good friend, learn its strengths, learn its weaknesses. And know what it can and can't give you. Follow this, and you'll be blissfully close to the iFlex.
