Is It In Yet?

The Li'l End is a great solution for those just starting out in anal play. Body safe material and just the right size that you won't outgrow it with just a couple uses. Because I am a more advanced anal user than what this plug is designed for, its use was limited for me. But using it in conjunction with other Doc Johnson silicone toys has been a fun challenge and experience.

Use

The Li'l End by Doc Johnson is most certainly a beginner’s butt plug for those just exploring the world of anal stimulation. It is fairly short in length and only has a 1" diameter, but the base is fairly large making it very safe for anal use. This plug can be used anally or vaginally and with the tapered tip it makes it easy for insertion. The best way to use it is with some lube applied and getting into a position you are comfortable and relaxed in. Take your time if you are a beginner so you can learn your limits, if you feel pain, stop and remove the plug, you may need to add more lube then try again.

The base is large enough you could use a few fingers to grasp onto it for more control. This would make a great plug also for couples to experiment with as beginners. But if you plan on switching the plug between users internally, you should take precautions and probably use a condom. Feel free to run hot or cold water over the plug till you reach a temperature you like for temperature play. Finally, if you are fairly experienced or advanced in anal play, you might not find much use for this plug.

Material / Texture

This plug is made of Doc Johnson's premium grade high quality silicone made right here in the U.S. The material is odor free and non-porous giving it a level 10 on the safety rating for sex toys. The silicone is high grade, meaning it is pure silicone, and not silicone mixed with other compounds. It is hypo-allergenic and phthalates free and has no latex in it.

This kind of material in my opinion is great for beginners. It is overall smooth with the one ridge at the widest point which transitions into the neck of the toy above the base. There is a drag feel to the material; lube will fix this when in use. It is firm but with some give, the neck is very flexible and floppy at times. Other than the ridge, this is a smooth plug that is great for beginners. The material can attract lint at times but a quick rinse with water removes it.
    • Flexible
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

As the name suggests it is very little. Making it easy to hide and conceal which makes for a positive note on the design. It measures 4 1/2" in overall total length from base to tip. The width is around 1" at the widest point, just before the ridge drops off to the neck. The neck is just over 3/4" wide and almost 1" in length. The size is great for beginners for short or long term use making it comfortable for anal. However those who are more advanced in anal will outgrow this toy almost straight away.

For me the design, shape and size works fairly okay, but because I am more advanced in anal play, I find I don't have much use for this plug. It seems good if I am wanting to warm up, or wear it for an extended time. It is realistic in the sense that it looks like a butt plug, but looks nothing like a penis. This also makes it very indiscreet, most people that see this will know it's a sex toy. But since it is small it is easy to store away and hide, it's also easy to travel with.

Performance

The performance for me being a more advanced anal user is a bit of a lackluster. Hence the title, "Is It In Yet?” during times when I have more frequent anal play, the anus is stretched and warmed up more often. So if I start with the Li'l End, it doesn't feel like it is doing much or even inside of me. But after a lack of anal activity, the Li'l End is perfect to get back into the swing of things by warming up slowly.

Lube seems to work well with the material, sticking to the surface rather than dripping or running off. The base is large, so I have had no issues with accidental slippage or loss of the plug. Overall it performs how it is supposed to.
    • Comfortable
    • Easy to use
    • Not discreet at all

Care and Maintenance

Caring for the plug is super easy...Upon first opening it up, washing in warm soapy water is required for safety reasons. You can choose any of the following options at this point to clean your silicone plug. Hand wash in warm soapy water, 10% bleach solution, dishwasher, boiling for 3 minutes, toy wipes/cleaner or even in the shower. Any of these ways should thoroughly clean your toy. I like to use anti-bacterial soap with hot water.

When using lubes, water and oil-based lubes are generally safe, some silicone-based lubes can be used, but with any bottle of lube you should do a test spot on the toy just in case. Storing is simple, you can use the packaging it came with, put it in a lint free storage container or even a zip lock bag. Keep the toy out of direct sunlight and lay it down on its side also. I'd avoid allowing the material to touch other toy materials as damage can occur.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

Standard Doc Johnson clam-shell PVC packaging with basic information on the packaging. It can be used to store the toy, but I throw mine out and don't reuse it. Because it is PVC packaging, you cannot generally recycle it in most cities. So if you recycle No. 1 and 2 plastics, this packaging cannot be included in that. The packaging is far from discreet also. The clear plastic clam-shell setup is molded around the shape of the plug. You can clearly and visibly see the plug in the packaging. The packaging label and information also states properties of the toy and that it is indeed a plug.
    • Good for storage
    • Not discreet

Experience

In my use and experience of the Li'l End I find it not very useful for me now. It is simply too small for my use by itself. I have however started to use it in conjunction with other Doc Johnson silicone toys, using the plug and another toy anally at the same time to provide an extra challenge and stretch!

Thanks for the review! What makes the package not discreet?
  • Contributor: Gary A.
Good question Potter! Seems I forgot to add that part in lol. Basically the packaging is in clam-shell form with a clear plastic setup. The packaging molds around the plug, and the plug is also easily visible. Label information also speaks of sex toy properties and that it is a "plug".
