The Big End is a medium sized butt plug; that has a rectangular base to keep it in place. Now don't be fooled by this plug's innocent appearance, because it is nothing to toy with; at least for beginners. With a circumference of 5 1/2 inches (diameter of 1 3/4 inches) the Big End is definitely made for those who are more experienced in anal play.

This was the first plug I ever got, and wow was it huge. I figured "Eh it's not that big. I can handle it", but nope anal play is way different then vaginal. (Who knew right..) The tip is not where you will have the main issue because first 2 - 2 1/2 inches goes in rather smoothly; however getting the widest point (5 1/2in) of the plug in can be very uncomfortable, and even painful.

You can use this butt plug during foreplay, masturbation or intercourse. While it is nonporous and can be sterilized it is meant for anal play; I would not recommend using it vaginally. The stem (space between the plug and the base) is somewhat flexible so while inserting the Big End you might need to push on the plug until it is in. Then just let your muscles pull it the rest of the way in. A little bit of lube might be required when using it (I have to use some); so make sure to use a water based lubricant.

*A few precautions*

1.) Make sure to know your limits when using a plug that is bigger then what your used to. And that also goes for any toy that your body is not used to.
2.) Go slow when inserting. If you need to warm up to it, it's okay, because your body knows what it can take.
3.) Don't let anyone try to tell you that you can handle something bigger than what you're comfortable with.
4.) And just have fun with it. Trying new things can be very fun. :)

The Big End is made entirely from food-grade, nonporous silicone. When first opened there isn't a smell; which is nice. The exterior of this plug is completely smooth; this makes it a good choice (texture wise) for beginners. But if you're looking for a little bit more stimulation you're not going to find it here. As far as the interior of this plug goes, it's rather firm. So you can apply pressure to it and it will push in, then return to its normal shape after the pressure is removed. Overall I give the material/texture an "A".

As far as the design of the Big End plug goes it's a typical cone shape (thin at the top and wide at the base). I personally really like this design because it allows for easy insertion of the plug. The only down side to it is that when you remove it, it tends to not be so nice; because it's the big end that has to come out first. Again the size makes it more suitable for experts rather than beginners. Although beginners can use it in a thrusting manner until they work their way up to complete insertion.

Now if you don't like people knowing about your toys then you definitely don't want to leave this one sitting out. While there may be a few people that don't know what it is, most do; so you are going to want to store it away when not in use. It is very travel friendly, but it will need it's own special pouch because it will pick up lint very easily.

For me the performance is so so; mainly because I didn't work up to it. Occasionally I use it as a plug but for the most part I just use more as a regular toy. I do feel that when I work my way up to it the sensation will be great, just not quite there yet. :) The best thing about this toy is that it is tapered for easy insertion, and narrows just before the base allowing it to stay in place.

The care and maintnance of the Big End is really simple. First off cleaning, you will need to do this before and after each use. The Big End is waterproof (duh right..) so all you need to do is run it under the faucet and clean it with some mild soap. You will want to use a lint free towel to dry it, or just let it air dry.

After the plug has dried it is ready for storage. You will want to store it in a pouch or drawer away from anything that might get lint on it. I use one of the EdenFantasys pouches to store mine in. It fits perfectly and keeps it like new.

This plug comes in a bubble pouch with a cardboard background. On the cardboard are the words "The Big End" written in really BIG words; which makes the packaging of it not very discrete at all. Since this toy is pretty much self explanatory there aren't really any instructions included with it. However one big thing to remember when using the Big End butt plug is that you need to use water based lube. A silicone based lube will mess with the silicone plug and cause it to become sticky, and you will no longer be able to use it. :(
