Overall, this plug performs very well but is held back by the material and safety warnings. Still, the price is reasonable and the plug should last quite some time.

Use

General anal play use is what you shall get from this fun butt plug. I purchased the 4" plug a very long time ago and felt it was time to write a review. The suction cup adds some fun on the shower wall or nice to ride without the plug moving. All the uses I have tried, I found riding it was the most enjoyable. Please note, for some people it may be hard to ride it all the way down and to get it to pop in. This plug for me was easy to keep inside for prolonged use. Does not take much lube at all to get this one prepared and is comfortable enough to sit on thanks to the flexible base. Keep in mind the base is very thin, and flexible. While it is my opinion there should not be any problems just be careful not to use to much lube, especially if your anus has a habit of really wanting to suck things up inside.

Material / Texture

Ugh, jelly, what can I say; it's only rated 2 on the material safety and there is good reason for that. Often called "smelly jelly", the material cannot be fully sterilized. So that means you cannot boil jelly products in water. Because of this, they should never be shared with anyone unless you put a condom over the toy. Warm water and toy cleaner is recommended to clean, no strong soap is recommended. Keep stored in a dark cool place. The plug itself is very smooth, with lube it is easily able to be inserted. Two ridges/bumps are accompanied after the widest part, followed by the suction cup base. The jelly is somewhat transparent but you cannot see all the way through it. Strong odor generally comes with jelly products.

Design / Shape / Size

I purchased the 4" plug and I really enjoy the shape and size of this. The 4" is best suited for experienced anal play, definitely not beginners. This one worked perfectly for me, the right size, shape, and the suction cup is a really handy feature. It is fairly small and easy to travel with; I would say it's definitely not discreet. The color is nice and gives a nice view while using it.

Performance

Overall, the best thing about this plug is the suction cup. It allows you to use it in ways you could not normally use a plug. It is very comfortable to wear for long periods and to walk around with it inside of you. It performs like most plugs with some added fun, take it into the shower and give it a ride.

Care and Maintenance

Water based or silicone lubes are required for the plug. Warm water and toy cleaner is suggested for cleaning the toy on the material information. However, I usually use warm water and an anti-bacterial soap, then pat dry with a lint free towel, or air dry. You'll want to store this in a dark cooler place and most likely away from other toys not made of jelly. Always use a condom if you are going to share the plug with a partner. Cannot be sterilized or boiled in water. Lint, hair, dirt, dust etc seems to get on it and stay there fairly easily, however, rinsing in water should take care of that before and after use.

Experience

My personal experiences with this plug have been great, from riding it in the shower to wearing it for a couple of hours. Overall, it's fun and pleasurable, and definitely gives a fulfilling feeling inside. It slides in and out very very easily at will and for me, stays inside and does not pop out when I don't want it to.
Follow-up commentary
I've had this plug since sometime in 2006, unfortunately for some reason I cannot access records of the original order. In all these years the plug after much use is still in great condition, almost like-new. In the 5 or more years I have used this plug for anal play I still have not noticed odors. It's well made and will last a long time under the right care. I still love the way this plug works and feels. With that being said it is time for me to part ways and throw it out. Over time I have learned a great deal about sex toys, materials, safety issues and more. I have upgraded to a silicone plug that will last at least 3 times as long, I hope. The Lock & Load was my first plug I ever used; it will not be one I will ever forget either. I hope everyone else has as great of an experience with this plug as I have.
